Tell us about gaming moments that you find odd but side-slitting hilarious.
Yesterday, I was playing Zero 2, I was doing Phoenix Magnion's stage. I had beaten one of the reactor things and it was exploding, so I dashed into the door. But then I decided I wanted to wall jump up to the ceiling, so I pressed back to get onto the wall, but then the reactor finished exploding.
Zero was still touching the door, and he was facing backward, so his running animation was playing as he went through the door, backwards.
Essentially, Zero was moonwalking. Immediatly, I stood up, went "WOO!" and moonwalked myself. I was moonwalking with a DS Lite in my hands as I fought Phoenix Magnion.

I've had quite a few in Brawl, getting gimped by the stage in the strangest ways. This an e-friend's biggest WTF moment.I had one when I decided to revisit Starfox: Assault recently. I was trying to escape an aerial team attack (2 Arwings versus one) from my brother and sister, when my Arwing was shot down. I started going down, and hit Z to eject. What happened is that I happened to land right on top of my brother's Arwing after ejecting. It took me a second to see what just happened, but I pulled out the Machine Gun and started drilling his ship before he shook me off. After that match ended (my brother and sister won), I could only sit back and say "Seriously, that was the biggest WTF moment I've ever had in this game."

-This is a common one, but I was playing Fallout 3, and I was walking through the wasteleans. Then all of a sudden, a deathclaw seemingly leapt at me (and for those that don't know, they are the most dangerous things in the game) I was estounded by the things great jumping ability until....well, the thing never came down. It just went boundlessly into the sky....lol. I stood there for a good five minutes with a gaping mouth. I checked Falloutwiki and it told me of the glitch though.
-Another is on brawl. I was fighting a lvl 9 Wario on a custom stage in which the computers often want to go down becuase there are various levels THE EXACT SAME WAY. So I had the wierd option to sit there, homerunning the guy's lives away. 20 lives and it all ended the same. XD
Another time was when I was looking at a recording on halo 3. it was a campaign recording. In record mode, you're a free camera that gets to go looking around everywhere. One time, I went into this room full of those little grunt guys sleeping. So I decided to let my camera wonder around. Suddenly I came across these two lags and heard someone grun with satisfaction. I looked up only to see a brute technically pissing on me. ...>_>
just a few of many. Or at least, ones that quickly come to mind.

I think it was Megaman X4 when I had a hard time fighting a particular boss and we both were at one bit of heath left then we both attacked and double KO'd and then it went though Zero Exploding and whoever the boss Exploded and then it played Zero's Victory theme and then it said Gameover and froze. And this was me staring at the screen going what just happened?

It started with a day of playing Jak and Daxter precursor legacy. I was on the flut flut thing running around the swamp until I got to the part where there was a small dock going out to sea. I thought I'd find out what would happen if you went in water riding a flut flut so I double jumped into the ocean, the strange bird managed to double hop back accross the water and onto the dock. I was having fun by this point so O did it a few times. Until it got stuck in limbo and glitched as it started jumping from dock to water repeatedly. I couldn't control it but it was funny to watch. Soon I got bored and reset the console.
....Simple mind, simple pleasures.

Speaking of simple minds.
I was playing Star Ocean 3 and had just gotten to Kirlsa, or whatever its called, and was in the mines trying to get through on a Hauler and had missed a turn and witnessed my hauler slam headfirst into a wall. Needless to say I fell out of my chair and started rolling on the floor laughing my head off. After which I made the hauler run into the wall seven more times laughing like crazy the whole time.

Well, for me... The VATS key. (If you've played Fallout 3, you'll know what this is. ) But it amuses me, especially when the shot forces the person to explode into a gory mess. Yeah, I am a bit sadistic in that regard that CGI enemys being blown to bits amuses me.
Otherwise, First time I played DMC4... Dante vs Nero in Mission 1. How epic Dante looks in compared to Nero... It's a shame that you can't play as Dante for most of the game.
Then the WTF moment came when in mission 10, I had to fight Dante again... (I think it's 10 where you fight Dante again.) Who becomes significantly harder. And he still pisses me off that he never uses devil trigger for the fight, which is like saying: "Kid, you ain't even worth the effort." Though admittedly, if he did use DT, it would have been that much more difficult.

Speaking of Fallout three,(this can probably also go in the failures thread) I was watching my brother play it. As a survivor, he kinda sucks. He was in GermanTown HQ, almost dead; a bad idea since there are supermutants everywhere. His camera was in 3rd person, facing the wall while he was cycling through his weapons. We heard no gunshots, saw so bullets, but all of a sudden his guy just fell over and died. lol...coupled with the late response of the dramatic death music, it all made me LMAO while he was like "WTF...." (I'm sure he got shot though since sometimes you don't see bullets hitting you when you're fired at. And when you're not facing something, sound is sometimes blocked out) Another from that game was when Cross got killed. All of a sudden, the Enclave started spamming us with the missile launcher and plasma rifles...From a high bridge. We tried our best to fend them off, but all of a sudden, Cross brought out her hammer and started running around in circles. A missile launcher picker her off quite easily...I was a sad wolf then. So after she died, I noticed that the enclave stopped attacking. I walked up onto the bridge and they were all like "HAI FRIEND! ".....so rocked them in the face with some missiles....Cross was a good helper...

I hear you on that, Cross is a good helper. Though for myself, I gave her an assault rifle (with 300 rounds), a combat shotgun and 50 rounds, a minigun and 500 rounds, and I think I gave her a missile launcher as well...
Maybe that's cause for myself, I like being able to shoot things so even though I have the option for the close range weapons I use the guns.
