Yes truthfully I never found airman to be all that hard to beat. I always though that Quickman was a huge . Though I love him.

I can't really imagine how hard someone would have to fail at Megaman 2 to really never be able to beat Airman. Even without using the rapid-fire button on the Anniversary Collection, I just soak up the damage and mash fire, he dies every time. In fact, Airman is the second boss I go for when playing Em Em Two. Right after Metalman. I even have my order memorized with a song. 'Eight more robot masters, Megaman is stronger/faster. For Metalman and Airman use the arm canon blaster. Air on Crash, Metal on Flash, Metal on Bubble, Bubble on Heat, Heat on Wood. Finally Quickman, he's kind of a dickman, use Crash Bombs and you're good!'
But to get this thread back on topic, for me, my only Megaman 2 fail was the first time I tried to beat Crashman (I didn't know at the time that Air Shooter can potentially kill him in one shot), and when I get to the point in the first fortress stage where I have to use Item 3 to reach a ladder. I always go for that One Up and end up getting stuck because I don't have enough energy left for another Item 3.

Well since shicmuri counted player vs. player failures, I might as well. In Star wars battlefront two, I am clearly below Shic. I go around killing droids, thinking I'm badass, then I look up to see that there's only like,...four of my people left against his 32 or some crap. But that was a while ago. After playing halo, I started understanding shooters a 'lil more, so I'm anxious to fight him in it again. Then there was DBZ tenkaichi 2. The first time I got it, I breezed through the storyline, and I thought I was good. Then Shicmuri came over. The next thing I knew, I'm being hit by the teleporting attacks all up and down the level, being horribly decimated. I have a horrible memory, But I think it's safe to say that I only got down one life bar at most. (But it's all good now. I payed him back in spades a few months later. ) Finally, there's brawl. back when I was still unsure of who was my best, I was training around with sonic. I was getting used to controlling him, and like always, I thought I was getting pretty hot... .....Then I fought Tank. With him using Ike. Man, I got my arse handed to me on a jewel-encrusted golden-silver platter....I was ashamed of myself for awhile. I never touched sonic again. XD

To be fair though, most people regard an Ike v Sonic match as heavily in Ike's favor. I know my Ike, yes, but he's also a potential counterpick for Sonic. I got lucky with the character selection. Btw, we gotta play online again, its been too long. Lets see, to date the worst pounding on Brawl I think I've recieved was my very first match. My friend and I had walked to Gamestop, it was about midnight and we were waiting for Brawl to be released. They had a Brawl demo going on one of the TVs while people waited and we finally got a turn. For some reason they only had 3 controllers. So we both picked our best characters from Melee, I was Sheik and my friend Fox, we planned to gang up on the third guy who was playing Meta-Knight (already <.<). Random stage selected: Wario Ware. We were slaughtered. Because it was a demo, all the instructions for the mini games were in Japanese so we had no idea what we were doing. And when I finally got a good combo going with Sheik, racked up some damage and lifted him to hit with her ninja slap (forward air) I discovered that they nerfed the move. I hate what they've done to Sheik this time around. But yeah, I've had some tough matches but I think getting slaughtered in what was essentially a 2 on 1 was my worst to date.

Well, I just spent 30 minutes of my life fighting Lavos' final form, only to die due to his ultimate magic attack hitting me when everybody had 500 HP left...
Yeah... >_>
Also, the game is Chrono Trigger, in case anybody didn't know. >_>

My most recent failure was in Radiant Dawn. I took a good unit (Sothe) and took him out with Michiah to take a path that had very little units in it. He went to face a swordmaster after Michiah weakened it. Sothe used his "Bane" skill to reduce the opponent to 1 HP (when he could've just killed him with a 25% Critical). Then the Steel Blade- wielding swordmaster landed a Critical... a 3% critical... and killed him... in one hit... Michiah sobbed over him and I had to restart the chapter... all... over... again. That desert stage really sucks.

Wait, wait. Sothe actually died!? How the hell did that happen? Which part of the game was it? The first? If so, then that shouldnt've happened.

Wait, wait. Sothe actually died!? How the hell did that happen? Which part of the game was it? The first? If so, then that shouldnt've happened. It was a Swordmaster. They don't appear in the first part. It was in Part 4, Chapter 3. The desert stage where you get Stefan. Sothe goes from an uber unit to quite poor in a hurry. It's even worse at the Tower of Salvation unless you buy/use a Peshkatz or even find the Baselard in aforementioned desert stage. Even then, Volke and maybe even Heather can use those weapons to a better degree.

Sothe dying is not uncommon. He's your Jeigan in part one, capable of raping everything on the map and stealing valuable exp but when you get him back he's outclassed in every way shape and form. Though I think you knew that, ZXLedah said deset level and you probably thought of the one where you 'rescue' Jill, Zihark and Tauroneo.

heh, man good thing i leveled up sothe in path of radiance then, he's still kick in my radiant dawn file, though had to speed level him before he reaches the next class after rogue... Haven't been here in awhile, but my biggest failure would have to be Star Ocean Till the End of Time... That Freiya is a to kill, tried everything even MP killing her, and maxing all my chars lvls and still no victory..

Oh yea. Speaking of Till the end of time...
I fought Celestial Gabriel...The first time, It was a good fight, and we were wooping arse until the end, he did this attack that effects the majority of the screen. I thought I was safe out of the radius, but the dragon(that was apart of the attack) somehow touched me while I was trying to heal. I was pissed.
So I leveled up from lvl 102, to 135 to go kick his arse...heh heh...yea....I died in three hits...XD But that was because I was int he zone the first time. I underestimated him the second, and he crushed me so badly. Star Ocean 3 scares me. Gabriel misn't even the strongest int he game. It's like when Ichigo fought Ulquorra, knowing there were more stronger opponents right afterwards.....

SO3 scares me too, and I'm not even off of Elicoor yet. I've been owned so many times in that game, it's not even funny.

Trying to beat No More Heroes on Bitter Mode only fighting the bosses with the Tsubaki MK I.
From Dr. Peace (Death Metal can only be fought using either the Blood Berry or whatever sword you had at the end of the file's latest playthrough) to Destroyman, I've had success.
Then I attempted number six.
Fighting my way across that godforsaken beach full of handgun and automatic users was torture enough, but then I got to Holly.
I try to attack her, she kicks up some sand and runs off. I run after her, I fall down a pit and have to use the A button to climb out, the most frustrating method.
Good News: I get a chance to attack. Bad News: It's because she spammed her rediculous, most of the time tedious to avoid rocket launcher attack. Chance missed. Travis dead. Only reason Wiimote has not smashed through my television is because of the wriststrap.
Holly Summers must be the reason you can only play No More Heroes on Bitter by way of a NewGame+. You are not beating her on Bitter without at least the MK II Tsubaki.
Most other bosses I can take on Bitter with just the Blood Berry, but not Holly. No. Not Holly, who spends half the fight running away and the other half spamming her rocket-launching super attack. And that's not counting the hours you spend falling down the pitfalls and having to shake the Wiimote/Nunchuck or tap the A button to climb out before she tosses a grenade down there and knocks off another good chunk of your health.
Moan moan, whinge whinge, b*tch b*tch, etc.

My most utter failure....? I'd have to say megaman 2 simply because I wasn't used to the fact of no sliding and the fact I wasn't familiar with the game that well. I'd remember I get pwned even before I get to the boss of any darn stage then once I get to the boss dunta dun I get pwned because being the genius I am only had maybe a few health bits and no tank to save my hide... Yeah so the number of tries I averaged in that game were like almost close to 400 deaths...
