There's a topic regarding only Megaman themes, I thought there should be one of everything.

Hm. Need to narrow down my choices, which are tons. These are the ones I can think of over the top of my head.

Chrono Cross - People Imprisioned by Destiny

Castlevania II - Bloody Tears
Touhou VI - Septette for the Dead Princess
Xenosaga III - Promised Pain
Ikaruga - Reality
RosenkreuzStilette - Thema der Irismaschinen
Guilty Gear XX - Awe of She

1. Sonic & Knuckles Mini Boss Theme
2. Rayman Arena: Henchman 800's theme
3. Theme best fit for Bardock: Lost Courage(DBZ Tenkaichi 2)
4. Maybe I'm a Lion, FFVIII
5. Kirby Super Star Ultra; Against Galactaca Knight(Fighting his guy with Meta Knight was sic as I dunno what....)

But those Are just my fav. at the moment.

1. Still Alive - Portal ... :X
2. Earthbound's final boss music, the first fight against Pokey and the Ness-Face-Giygas. The latter parts of the fight don't really provide much of actual music. :p
3. The Hyrule Field theme from Zelda OOT. An absolutely epic piece that never fails to lift one's spirits.
4. Much of original EverQuest's music. For instance, this one plays in Kelethin (some treetop shack city)! Most are just some enviromental flute-stuff, but I absolutely love the atmosphere all of it used to make. Most of em aren't really individual songs as much as just some 30sec midi pieces, so...
5. Just about everything in Chrono Trigger! Lavos's theme being the best one for me. Tyrano Lair comes next. Followed by Ocean Palace and the Black Omen. Et cetera! :X

For me, from OoT... it has to be this theme...

In Zelda? My all time favorite is the Song of Healing from Majora's Mask. Next is This song that plays in Hyrule Field at night in Twilight Princess that has no offical name that I know of, followed by Midna's Lament (That's the offical name, as given in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Nintendo haven't released an offical TP OST yet.).

The Song of Healing, I like because it's very soothing (which I guess is appropriate considering what it is, lawl).
Hyrule Field at night is just incredibly errie in-game, especially Malon's vocals being there. Some think her voice is there because Ilia is Malon's descendant, but I believe otherwise (and not just because I hate Ilia and love Malon too much for me to actually buy into the idea that they're related). I think it's Malon's ghost, trying to get the attention of the current incarnation of the man she loved in life (TP Link, who must be OoT Link's descendant). For me it works alot better because it severs a possible tie between my favorite and least favorite female characters and adds an extra edge of eerieness to the aforementioned atmosphere.
Midna's Lament also creates an atmosphere of desperation.

Battle with Magus from Chrono Trigger. It's actually tied with World Revolution.

Meaning of Birth from Tales of the Abyss, along with Finish the Promise.

Beat the Angel from Tales of Symphonia, with Final Destination. being a close second.

Fighting of the Spirit from Tales of Phantasia.

Gourmet Race from various Kirby games, and Dedede's Theme.

AND

Final Destination from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Those aren't in order, by the way.

My personal favourites, in no particular order, are as follows:

Ken Stage from Street Fighter II. I do believe it's the sheer macho-feel of the song that makes me feel totally pumped and ready to kick ! Truly, a song for an epic fight between two rivals.

Next up is a couple of old favourites, Pure Again, the credits song for Breath of Fire III. It's this sorta easygoing j-pop piece I heard the first time while tinkering with the pirate mod for my PSX. Also, Life's A Beach, a very relaxing, up-beat song played while visiting a sunny port town. Another piece from BoF III, Take it and Run, a song played while breaking into a mansion, all stealthy and cool. Wrapping it up is Casually, one of the most relaxing songs I've ever heard, to be honest.

Moving on from that pure nostalgia... Our next contestant is a classic from Chrono Trigger, Corridors of Time. This song always makes me feel relaxed, funny and easy-going. Definately a keeper.

A surprisingly catchy song from a japanese action game, the main themes from both Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, while very similiar and essentially containing the exact same melody, are both excellent themes. I get goosebumps everytime I listen to these two.

The Final Fantasy-series contains quite a few classics that I just have to mention. From Final Fantasy VI (the best of the lot, in my opinion) comes Terra's Theme, which is played in the very intro of the game, and truly shows what the old school videogame composers were made of. From FF VII, I've picked Cosmo Canyon. Those that enjoyed the song are gonna love the remix by the late Reuben Kee, a genius composer in his own right.

I know this is kinda cheating, but it is technically a videogame. Holy Diver by Dio, from Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s. There, I did it! You can't stop Ronnie James Dio, unbelievers!

Well, that's all I can come up with for now. Maybe more will follow, as these are just a few of the most memorable classics.

Well, seeing as how this thread's inactive, how about I start it up again with a question?

What's everybody's favorite regular boss theme/s(Regular, as in, the most common boss theme)? I can't really decide between With Courage from Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World, and Decisive Battle from Final Fantasy VI.

I only want you to choose one or two songs, and two or three if you select a song you've already listed.

Sonic 3 boss theme... Albeit this one is a remix. But it still rocks. (And this is how I figure Sonic Team should do it if they ever remade Sonic 3.) So listen anyway.

Like a Glint of Light from Tales of Symphonia.

FFX's normal battle theme.

Cutting Edge of Notion from Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.

And On Edge of a Decision from Tales of the Abyss.
