What theme, out of every single so ever to appear in a Megaman game, is your favorite?
Mine is a tie between Zero's theme in X7 and the boss theme from same.

Zero theme aside, (as it holds top spot for me. Especially from X1, X3 and the Zero 1 version. Or the now defunct Repliforce mix titled "The warrior through time". ) I like the highway theme as well as Blaze Heatnix level themes. Both sound pretty good. (Blaze Heatnix level theme as a very high energy rock sounding level which really fits the level.) Though Storm Eagle's is also pretty good. (Especially the Chikusho Sound Team remix of it. ) And Launch Octopus's theme is also decent. |

The Highway theme from X7 is Zero's theme, actually. Well, that's the name I found it under when I searches X7's sound track on YouTube.
But in the first game, my favorite theme has to be Boomer Kuwanger's theme. If not for the techno remix bastardization of it found in Maverick Hunter X, it'd have my number one spot.

Favorite theme..?
From the top five, mine is:
1. X's theme off of X4
2. Sigma's remixed final boss track from X6
3. Zero's arrival theme(mmz2)
4. Sigma's final theme in X4
5. Zero's theme off of Command mission.
Since you asked for themes, I though I'd stray from normal level music and whatnot.

My top 5 would be this.
1. The Remixed version of The MM1 Fortress Boss fight with the Shadow Devil.
2. The Remixed version of Lamba Bamba when fighting that Wall thing whatever its called...
3. The unused version of Zero Dead cut out from X5.
4. X's intro stage from X1
5. Dr. Light Capsule Theme from X1 and X5.

Some of my favorites would have to be X5 and X6's X vs. Zero music, Cannonball Hard Revenge(when you fight Omega in MMZX), Max Heat(Heat Genblem's stage music), and the the music that plays when you fight Lumine's final form.

Why has no one mentioned Wily's Fortress Theme from Megaman 2? Aside from that I'll take Storm Eagle's Song and Zero's Theme from X2.

Wily's Fortress in Megaman 2 is a good one, but I haven't really been able to take it seriously since BrentalFloss of YouTube added lyrics to it.

Hmm... It's a tough decision. MM2 Wily 1+2 is perty awesome (though, just like Miguel, I now find it hard to take seriously), but I really think my favorite is the final boss theme of MM4. Epic. Win. Nobody EVER mentions that one!
Question: Am I a loser 'cause I bought the MMOS soundtrack for $80?

I also have the zero complete works, and plan on getting the two new ones and the starforce one. xD To keep this on topic though, I have to admit I love Hornetmans theme from Rockman 9. Something about it just so catchy to me. |
