Quite possibly one of the best Wii games ever, and not just for the gameplay.
Wether you'll agree with me there is if you judge the game's plot seriously or take it for the social satire it is.
Here's the skinny: Travis Touchdown, an otaku, purchases alight sabre beam katana off of an eBay type site, then takes on an assassanation job. Killing the target successfully, he is told by his employer that he is now the eleventh best hitman according to the United Assassin's Association (UAA). Travis then decides he's got nothing better to do, and decides to defeat the ten killers above him to achieve the top rank.
That's the basic premise for the plot, and you've got to play the game yourself to get it, but trust me, you'll find plent to amse you along the way.
I'll tell you now, my favorite boss in the entire game has to be Rank 2, Bad Girl. Her boss fight is challenging (especially using the Blood Berry), but in a way that it's fair, her character is likeably nuts, and her design is appealing.
I think what endears her to me the most, though, is the fact that she manages to stand out as the psychotic one out of all the different characters in this game. Need I remind you that a few of the other characters include an Otaku who runs around cutting people's heads off with a lightsabre with five laser bits on the one end, a mail man who dresses up as a Captain America reject and mounts machine guns on his nipples, a gun-toting southern detective who sings karaoke in an empty baseball stadium, a german-accented Heavy Metal punk with a Virtual Boy visor and an earth quake generator powered by a giant human brain, and a homeless old lady equipped with a shopping cart that turns into a laser canon with a barrel twenty metres long.
Yeah, she's wacked.
