So, I was thinking about video game innovation, specifically on the DS, and I began to wonder what Capcom could do to make the third ZX game that's inevtibaly going to show up next time Kieji Inafune needs help paying off his hookers into something that is not only a vast improvement over the retrospectively dissaponting ZX Advent, but also better then the first ZX, and I had the idea of a single-player experience that is, at the same time, CO-OP.
Give the new twin protagonists plots that inter-twine to the point that they do missions together, and let us use the X button to toggle between controlling the boy or the girl (As you know Capcom's going to try to be PC and make them opposite genders).
I know what you're thinking, 'It's been done. Yawn.', but here's the thing to mix it up: keep both characters on the field at all times. Both the characters are doing the mission at once, and you switch between the two to solve puzzles such as one where you have to unlock a door in one character's section of the level by doing things in the other's.
As for making use of the touch screen, the player can accquire abilities (such as tag-team Giga Attacks) that are set up by drawing a symbol on the touch screen and activated by pressing the A button (to replace the OIS system).
This could also make for a better multi-player experience then just with some stupid Mini-Game that noone likes (*Glares at ZX Advent*).
And I guess I should specifically mention that the experience I have in mind involves the characters having different Biometals.
Yeah, I was just having a random brain-fart that I felt like sharing. Feel free to comment on it, but don't feel guilty about hitting the 'Back' button as quickly as possible, pretending you never even noticed this thread and that I just need to put my hands back into the straight jacket.
