Keep the bickering to a minimum guys. Preferrably take it to the console wars topic or resolve it via PM.
But personally, I like a combination of things: wireless controllers, the hard drive and usb support.
Wireless controllers (especially the way Sony does it because I've not used the Microsoft controller for more than a half hour to an our.) Wireless so people don't have cords tangling up, built in battery pack (that can be changed if necessary) and you just plug in to the usb port to charge the controller. And continue playing the game.
Hard drive - just like a computer to store files and whatnot, make saves easier and quicker. Load games to the hard drive to increase speed.
(And I will address the forced install issue... I would rather have a forced install and have the game run quickly than to not install and try to read and decompress from the disc all the time. Thusly ending up with more and longer loading times. But on a blu-ray it would be very difficult to install the entire game... Especially since a blu-ray holds more data than a dvd. Easily double. So it would chew up hard drive space easily. )
USB support - copy media to and from your console, great for backing up your save files and whatnot so you don't lose them if the hard drive crashes. Or using your system as a media player without having to load anything to the console.
I like the built in wireless of the PS3, but I don't use the online much seeing as how its about 100km / 60 miles away from me now, and even when I am home both brothers are using it. (Especially now after they got 5 PS3 games for christmas.)
