Jeez, what's with ya'll making spectacular solutions? I still continue onwards forevermore! Next up is a battle of swordsmen. Super Swordsmen. The fighters. Two teams, consisting of a pair. 1st Pairing: Dante(Devil May Cry): Your half-demon half-human evil slaying fun guy. He has been known to carry numerous weapons but in this battle, he only carries his primary weapon--Rebellion(as far as I know, mind you) And of course, who is Dante without his devil trigger?(well, alot actually but you know what I mean. He has his devil trigger here.) Raiden:(MGS4) A modern-age ninja now proven to be a force to be reckoned with. All he has is a katana along with the abilities he displays in MGS4. Out of this fight, I guess he is the only one without a super form of sorts. [shadow=red,left,300][glow=red,2,300] VS.[/glow][/shadow] Zero:(Megaman X series) Your second best(yea, I went there) maverick hunter. He may have a bit of cockyness to him, but when it comes down to it, he is all business like no joke. In Megaman X6, Zero underwent a reformation with his skills in that his slashes were quicker, more precise, and appearently stronger. This, however, stopped on the next game. I dunno what happened, but let's just say that he has that particular fighting style back(find some X6 sprites to see what I mean) and his transformation is the Absolute Zero armor( let's also just say that Zero respects the blade fight, and thus refraims from using his buster and maverick moves) Roronoa Zoro:(One Piece) Well, just about the only swordsman in the bunch striving to become the greatest ever. Zoro has the special skill to fight with three swords: one in each hand and one in his mouth....without breaking. Because he tends to complete fights with the utmost serious mannorisms when he puts on his bandanna, I guess you can consider him putting on his bandanna a transformation. Let's say that this fight took place in the desert are Vegeta and Goku first fought in, which is a wasteland with tall whacky-shaped plateus. How would this fight happen? Who would win? I've given the bare minimum when it comes to info, so..

Well with the terrain and all I'd say Dante and Raiden wold win because they have a lot of advantages already over Zolo considering out of the pairings Zolo is probably the most human character in these pairings come on now. Dante can pown him easily and he can take stabs through the chest and all that fun stuff. So Zolo basically already lost to him even if he hid behind something or striked with a surprise attack. Now don't get me started with Raiden. He's a fricken ninja and a cyborg and like wise he has good tracking skills and a sword with electrical currents running through it. Not to mention he can move at a fast speed as well as take all the hits he could possibly muster till he loses all his white blood fluid of course I guess. Zero is a reploid and like wise his power is just as limitless as Dante and Raiden. And you got to remember in fact he'd also have a better chance surviving this terrain than his partner... however since he's a Reploid robot thing like Raiden he would lose functionaliy after a while if this were to continue to drag on. Sure he has th absolute and Black Zero forms ,but even those do have a limit and his buster is crappy at far distance ,but he has the Zet Saber which could cut through practically everything so bullets are useless and Raiden would be torn to shreds if Zero just could match his crazy speed.... You are evil man making me choose between the best swordsman ever...

Hmm, tough choice...
Of the lot, Raiden is likely the strongest (Seeing as how he stopped arsenal gear merely by pushing against it... Denting the thing when it was going full tilt against the docks, or atleast quick enough to wreck them.)
Dante has his devil trigger, but even his devil trigger has limits... (I believe that he can lift a couple tons but not as much as Raiden. Though he, likely, is by far quicker than Raiden.)
But, neither Raiden nor Dante is not the quickest... This honour goes to Zero. Zero has raw speed as well as the stamina to go the distance. Seeing as how he is an android, he would get tired much slower than all the others. Even Raiden would get tired after a while, due to his remaining human parts exerting a force on his brain. But Zero doesn't suffer from it.
And in terms of terrain, the effects are negligible for Zero and Raiden, though Dante and Zoro might have some issues if a sandstorm arrises or if the heat gets to them and they suffer heat strokes. (Though I'm not sure if Dante would be as easily affected by heat as Zoro would be, so it might be only him that is affected by the terrain.)
Next, in terms of weaponry... Zero's blade reigns king because it is pure energy and could likely cut through Raidens Hi-frequency blade with ease. Though Dante's blade charged full of demonic energy might pose a challenge for the saber because it's demonic power allowed it to resist being cut by even Vergil's blade which was known to be able to cut just about anything. So, Z-saber vs Rebellion, I'm going to say they're equal. But Dante posesses more strength than Zero, so odds favour Dante in that regard, but Zero is quicker than Dante...
So then for the actual fight, Dante and Zoro would begin while Raiden and Zero go at it. Zero manages to cut Raiden's sword in half, rendering it useless and allowing Zero to zip around and easily lop Raiden's head off. Meanwhile, Dante completely overpower's Zoro with strength and sheer epic style (SSS combo) and impales him on the blade (Stinger finish). Thusly leaving Dante and Zero to finish the fight once and for all.
Zero would probably try a head on attack first, but be repelled by Dante's sheer might. So he'd revert to speedy attacks and snipe away at Dante that way. Dante would take a few hits and see that if he lets it proceed this way he'd lose, so he devil triggers and attempts to level the playing field. Now faster and stronger he is almost at Zero's speed, allowing him to get a near hit and send Zeor flying backwards. But seeing Dante's power, Zero activates Absolute Zero... And becomes far quicker and ends Dante by brutally mauling him with the powerful claws as Dante's devil trigger power runs out.
Zero and zoro (now deceased) win.

In my opinion, Raiden is the best swordsman here.As Virus said, the guy is incredibly strong and he hops around like a frigging.... I dunno what. Point is he's damn hard to hit, and even with his sword gone and his arms tied (think the geko scene) he still holds his own. Damn hard to kill too. At least during the fight, he might collapse after its over but he doesn't show pain until the fight is over, just keeps going till the end.
If Dante isn't the second most skilled he's up there. That pairing is my favorite to win, the only thing that makes me even slightly hesitant is Zero having superior weaponry. That said, I'm sure Raiden would realize that his sword wouldn't likely stand up to the Z saber and dance around, flip over Zero, whatever he had to do to get a good clean strike in. And that's if they did Zero v Raiden and Dante v Zoro. They might do Zoro v Raiden and Zero v Dante, in which case the results might be a bit more in favor of team 1. I think they'd win.

Oh, I never took Zero's saber into consideration of whether it can cut the opponent's blades or not. Main reason being that these are respectable opponents, and Zero never usually does something like that mid-fight. I can see it being followed up with a finishing blow, but nothing more.
And if it evens things out, I'll say this: Zoro threw a darn building at a guy.

really? I don't think so. I mean, anyone encouraged to live with the name zreo should be easy prey.
kidding. Personally, I'd think they'd beat each other uncauntious.

But at the same time, I think Zoro would be throwing around those huge land structures at raiden, should they fight. In fact, I honestly think Zoro would win in that fight. They'd be in a constant fight until the tire out, at that point, I think Zoro might try two-three of his special attacks(the thing where he places two swords behind him and quickly slices through the foe)
also, read this wiki refrence:

But, you got to remember Zero is probably the most resourceful in terms of combat. He is able to adapt with many different weaponry you've seen how he took out Sigma almost through the game Megaman X4 and you defently see a whole lot more in X7, X8, Zero 1-4 more typically 4 unless you don't count that... Quite similar to Dante too beside his demonic powers and well the change in weaponry ,but generally there is always a way to beat somebody no matter how supperior they are to one of the another is the point here I think...

I don't think this requires alot of thought.
Zero has a lightsaber. It'll cut through anyone if it hits. That and his enormous arsenal of techniques that aid him in all situations. If he does use Absolute Zero, it's even more hilarious due to the fact that he can teleport.
Zoro...Zoro can lift an entire building with his own bare hands. He can also cut through solid steel at ease with a sword. He's the most overpowered ordinary human of any anime/manga I can remember at the moment.

Hmm, what kind of building can Zoro lift? I ask because if it's a 1 story shoddily constructed shack, then pretty much everyone overpowers him. Cause if he can only lift a small building like that, then its possible that he really isn't that strong after all. Providing the building he can lift is either smaller than the smallest house or larger but made of lighter materials. The smallest house I know of is in Toronto, and it is 312 square feet and that works out to weigh roughly 7 tonnes. (312 square feet x 50lbs per squarefoot = 15600 lbs / 2200 = 7.09 tonnes. And for this calculation, the overall weight doesn't include the foundation or any objects inside, it's just for the house itself. Also, the figure of 50 lbs per squarefoot is an estimate given by a house mover... The person who gave the estimate wasn't named, but here is the house per square foot weight estimate location) Though, it was said in the outline that Zero wouldn't use the buster and maverick moves. Though I agree, teleportation would make it much more difficult to fight him. Adding to what Random said... Zero has had atleast 22 years of combat experience by X6 time... (if we go by what the megaman wikia says as true... megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Mega_Man_X_series) And if we give the Hypermode enabled Zero's combat experience, then he would have had over 80 years of combat experience... Giving him a definite edge over any human adversary. (Though Zero, in the first place, isn't one to hesitate to kill either... So if given the opportunity he would slice and dice just about anyone.)

For the specifications of a "building" question,....half a skycraper if I can remember correctly. I could be wrong. I could be horribly wrong. I have no idea what episode he did this in, but I remember seeing him do this little stunt against some guy with swords for hands.

Hmm, I dunno, I might still have to give it to Raiden... Because he stopped Arsenal gear, which is larger than the USS Missouri (and it comes in at a staggering 45,000 tons source ) The Empire State building which is 102 floors tall, with 2,768,591 square feet would weigh about... 5,174,740 tonnes. (So half would be 2,587,370 tonnes.) ( source) But thats a rather large skyscraper, one of the largest in the world... so admittedly it would make Zoro stronger if he lifted the Empire State building, but he didn't and infact any building over 80 meters (150 feet) tall can be classed a skyscraper... Those ofcourse would weigh less and possibly be less than the Arsenal Gear.
