Even the movie version of the armor has the core underneath the armor. See the clip of the armor up process which demonstrates this... But I've been talking about the comic armors mostly because they're already established and have had quite a bit more time to show what they can do as opposed to the movie version. (Which is sort of based on the Extremis armor in looks... And the image selected for the IronMan picture above actually is a shot of the extremis armor... )

its hard but i think that ironman would win because when hes in his armor and samus is in hers, ironman would be faster and be able to avoid attacks,if samus goes to her zero suit then she would be faster but he could go with multiple distant moves

i agree with what viruszero said because iron man did used a similar technique in the movie against a much more durable foe

The odds are, Iron Man will win
Though if you took out the armors, Samus will have a chance of winning.

Only if you define "taking out armors."
I recall reading that Ironman has this special armor in which he can control it remotely or something. That means he can tend to some women while the armor is up and about, smacking the crap out of samus.
Otherwise,...well, no. No otherwise. This thread is Ironman vs. Samus, not T. Stark Vs. Samus.

Well... Technically since Stark is Ironman, they are the same person.
As for the suit he can use remotely... Yes, I'd already mentioned that earlier in the topic. The NTU-150 (Neuromimetic Telepresence Unit) armor.
Also though it depends on which Stark you refer to... Because Extremis Stark actually has some powers of his own. He has heightened strength, regenerative powers, and can interface with virtually any machine connected to the internet or his satellite network.
So then if you take Samus out of her suit, it may be an even match... She has enhanced strength and agility, while Stark has the strength and regeneration. Though in the end, I still think that Stark would win.
