I doubt I should have to reiterate my question.
Personally, I've pretty much boycotted First Person Shooters, I won't play a rail shooter unless it's part of the Star Fox series because Star Fox 64 is one of the best games I've ever played, and if a game series' latest offerings have a general conscensus of what I call 'Capcom Snydrome' (The most iconic symptom being you can tell the game was made because the lead developer needed help paying off his hookers), then I generally won't be interested in it.

All these sodding singing stars and whatnot that are being crapped out and advertised left and right for every single console and more. I swear the colorless Game Boy has one of those coming out next, just in time for the holidays.
You know, the stuff with the microphone. Actually, I got one last christmas. Some CDs of "home karaoke" with the very worst of the homebrew music. /gargle
I can assure that neither the CDs or the mic have yet to have a single glimpse of the world outside the cardboard boxes. And they never will!

Whoa, I could've sworn that the first you guys wouls state are the sports games....lol
Anywho, I agree with Miguel on the rail shooters for the most part. Ghost Squad and time Crisis were pretty badass too IMO.
And then for the most part, I tend tos tray from Tactics games, aside for a few gems like Zone of the Enders for the GBA, and advance wars.(THough I'll eventually try Namco X Capcom for the hell of it)
and then while it may not be a ganre itself, but mainly the online play of any game. I have a bad temper. And I'm a fighter. and I'm huge. Basically, if you can't say something to me in my face, shut the heck up. Anyone who's been around online play enough can know that what I just said is " 'nuff said. "

Rail Shooters and neither Rez nor Panzer Dragoon are mentioned? What kind of a thread is this?

Uh, a damn thread where we name the worse games...?
Oh, or maybe a thread where people have named rail shooters because the don't like them, and thus have not expanded their search for good rail shooters to name...? Don't care about the second, but that first wasn't even commercialized that much in the you.S, so of course it's not gonna be named.

I hate racing games..... apart from mario kart 64....
Apart from that, I just don't see the fun in them....
As for rail shooters, I don't really like them much either, but I quite liked the classic James Bond Golden eye game on N64.

I personally avoid the singing games like Mantisk mentioned. (Though I have played Rockband and it's ok, but it's not exactly a singing game primarily. Just a music/rythym game. So allow me the plastic fischer-price replica of the guitar and leave me alone.)
But otherwise, I don't play much of the sport games (Only sport game I will play is the NHL series. But only with my brothers in free for all mode... So I can express my utter dominance on the ice via the checking. )
Racing games I play, but I'm not as good at them as other games...
Fighters... very rarely will I play these because (And I'll quote Yahtzee on this...) "There has to be something wrong with a game where you can spend 15 years practicing and learning every nuiance and still lose to someone randomly smashing buttons." That and I find matchs for some are over way too quick. EX- Soul caliber 4 (Demo I might add before someone comes across and says "haha, thats not how it is." )... there's almost more loading time than match time. (Or atleast it feels that way to me. Once I get into the fight, I do a few attacks and then the opponent falls over and I win. What the heck happened here? Did I blink and accidentally push the "kick opponents a$$ while blinking button?" ) Now maybe I haven't found that great fighting game... I'll admit, I've never played any of the guilty gears series. Only fighters I've played are Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibre 4 (demo) , Tekken 3, loads of the DBZ based fighters, SSB(M)... which coincidentally happens to be one of the better fighters. Marvel vs Capcom and Enhergeiz.

I don't know if there's one single genre that I don't play. I don't like most fighting games, and yet I enjoy the Soul Caliber series and I am an avid SSB fan.
Most racing games don't do it for me either, the only exceptions being Mario Kart and sometimes F-Zero. And sometimes Need for Speed, although that series seems to get it right one game and go horribly wrong the next.
I'd have to say sports games are my least played genre, in the end I'd rather just go play the actual sport.
As a side note, I want to clarify to the thread as to what rail shooters are. Rail shooters are when the screen moves around and you shoot, like if you're strapped onto a roller coaster with a gun. You don't control where you're going, you just shoot as you go along for the ride. First person shooters are what we're all familiar with, where the player can explore and move about the environment however he wants.

I can honestly say that I never play any historic or realistic war games. I hate the WW2/any others games. I like my sci-finess! Ho ho!

Oh yea, which reminds me: I dislike the sim games, if they have their own ganre. I don't like them to an extent. "Make and take care of your own city!" type of sims I might be okay with for about an hour or two, but the serious hardcore things like second-life or the normal sims games are a waste of my time. My life is great! I like to play video games! what am I gonna do, play a game about me playing video games? The funny thing is that one of the sims games my cousin has had me doing that! XD Retarded imo......Plus they make me sad. In one of them where you can make your own house, I made my one huge room with blue carpet, and all basic stuff(fridge, sing, tv, bed) in one friggin corner......I'm afraid that my house in the future will look like that. (Well, I know house standards now, but my rooms will still suck.)

I play a load of styles, I love first person shooters....well...All shooters pretty much. I love 3'd person adventure's like phantasy star universe for example or Infinite Undiscovery Anything Co-op or online co-op. Horror survivals and Zombie games are really fun.

Flash, that's all fine and dandy and everything, but this thread is for listing the type of games you don't play. If you want to list the types you do, then go make a thread for that, please and thanks.

Don't know if this is a genre or not (seems like its becoming one), but I try to stay away from games that deal with Cards anywhere outside mini-games.

Card games became a genre long ago...
Hate em, and I don't really like turn based either... too slow
(as expected of the speed freak)
