The following is a concept of a manga I've been working on for the past 1 1/2 years.
Characters:
Guy(Protagonist)
Guy's family(No specific names, only appear in flashbacks)
G.you.are.A. Survivors (Global United Resistance Army)
Survivors of the Horsemen's initial attack
The Four Horsemen
From weakest to strongest: Famine, Pestilence(Conquest), War, Death
Character Descrip.
Death:
Stands at 7.3 feet tall and weighs 224 pounds. Only 1 inch taller than Guy(Reaper form) he possesses an army of creatures that were once Earth's animals. Their forms twisted and contorted, some being completely unrecognisable, as well as a few combined together into shadows of their former selves. Uses Mind Control to command his army to do his bidding. Appointed as the leader of the Four Horsemen, he often has issues with War. Who appears to think that his way is always right. Cold and calculating, though he finds no enjoyment in attacking an uninteresting target. The strongest of the Four Horsemen.
Abilities consist of Telekinesis as well as a small degree of Mind Control.
Resistances: The distance based abilities of Pestilence and Famine, War's mind control, human weapons.
War:
Weighs 355 lbs. Never takes off his armor. Standing at 8 feet tall and 6 feet wide with arms stretched out, he's a towering goliath with a large sword no less intimidating than himself. His blade is roughly 6 feet long and 2 feet wide near the tip. His blade always appears to have just been forged, being that the area near the end of it is always bright orange. Has a much stronger degree of mind control than Death, though it still cannot effect another Horseman. Uses said mind control for his own amusement by forcing humans to fight eachother. Has an army much larger than that of Death's, however his army is much weaker. Dislikes being under Death's thumb. Plans on rebelling against Death. The 2nd strongest of the Four Horsemen.
Abilities consist of a strong degree of Mind Control as well as control over fire or anything hot.
Resistances: Molten rock, fire, anything particularly hot. Human weapons. The distance based abilities of Famine and Pestilence.
Pestilence(Conquest):
Carries a bow and arrow as weapons. Weighs in 190 lbs. and stands at 6.7 feet tall and is therefor the shortest of the Four Horsemen. Looks up to War but is not without logic. If War makes a mistake, he points it out. Is not without power. His presence causes plant-life as well as humans to fall ill, some even dieing of sickness. Humans' immune systems are particularly effected by his presence. While he is in the vicinity, one of the strongest humans could easily die from getting a cold. Unlike the other Horsemen, he does not have any control over any other creatures. The third strongest of the Four Horsemen.
Abilities consist of poisoning his foes from a distance, be it with his arrows or his presence.
Resistances: Human weapons. The distance based ability of Famine, War's mind control, Death's mind control.
Famine:
Stands at 6.9 ft and weighs in at 197 lbs., he is the weakest of the Four Horsemen. He thinks of nothing but accomplishing the goals of the Four Horsemen, which is to wipe out the remains of humanity. His personality is somewhat similar to Death's. Doesn't put up with War's behavior, though he can't do much about it. He and Death sometimes do not see eye-to-eye, though this is only on minor subjects. Though he is the weakest of the Four Horsemen, he is Death's right hand man. Trusted by Death and seen as the only other competent Horseman in Death's eyes, he controls the portion of Death's army that consists of Rippers. Not with his own power mind you, but with threats of starvation and informing Death should anyone rebel against him. Carries a flail as a weapon.
Abilities consist of starvation from a distance as well as stealing the life-force of humans, animals, and plants.
Resistances: Human weapons. The distance based ability of Pestilence, War's mind control, Death's mind control.
Guy:
A human forcibly turned into the subject of project DEICIDE. Disliked and hated by his co-workers and earlier in his life, his classmates, he's known to be completely useless. Earning him the title of, "wasted space"among the people who knew him. His family was his only consolement until just before he was brought into Project DEICIDE when they were all killed in a car accident. Is intelligent, though incompetent and therefor seen as the perfect subject for Project DEICIDE. A military project conducted by G.you.are.A. to construct an artificial Horseman. Every time a large portion of his body is destroyed or severed from his head, the remainder of his body is regenerated and taken control of by the artificial Horseman G.you.are.A. tried to turn him into. His first transformation leaves him with only the left half of his face, a small portion of his upper left torso, and his left arm. The rest of his body was taken control of by his Reaper/Horseman side and grew to almost the same size as Death's body.

G.you.are.A. and DEICIDE:
Global United Resistance Army. Formed by the heads of Russia, China, and the you.S. It's primary function is to prevent Armageddon. Upon discovering their own helplessness to prevent Armageddon, Project DEICIDE was conceptualized. DEICIDE was created for the purpose of developing an artificial Horseman to protect what will remain of humanity after the Four Horsemen's initial attack. Over 3/4 of G.you.are.A. personnel were killed during the initial attack of the Four Horsemen despite the development of shelters designed to keep them alive. With all of G.you.are.A.'s officials dead, it is a leaderless organization by the time Guy awakens and is released. Many if not all of the survivors are living in the human colony protected by Guy, without his knowledge of who they are, or their actions in the past.
