Fun with rods

So the other day, I was playing Zero 2, and I was trying to max out the Chain Rod skills and I was thinking, what if the Chain Rod could be used for combat as more then a long-distance way of stabbing someone?

Then I came up with three ways the Chain Rod could have been used to turn my enemies into a heaping pile of scrap.

-Method one: Latch onto an enemy mid-jump and hit the weapon button the Chain Rod isn't set to, which would cause Zero to pull himself up close to the enemy for a swift kick in the teeth.

-Method two: Latch onto an enemy you're level with, then press up on the D-Pad while still holding the enemy, causing Zero to swing the chain over his head, slamming the enemy into the ground behind him or off of the ledge behind him.

-Method three: Latch onto an enemy you're level with, then press back on the D-Pad, then press forward, then back again, timing the presses so that Zero is swinging the unfortunate drone in a circle, smacking them into other near by enemies, and sending them flying when he releases.

Seriously, you can not tell me that being able to do that would not kick mass amounts of arse. And if you did, you'd go to Hell for an eternity of anal rape from Satan for telling such a blatant lie.

After coming up with that, I also got to thinking: How could Zero abuse his other rod weapons for arse-kicking fun?

All I could think of was one for using the Triple Rod by attacking the ground with it, then immediatly pressing forward and back on the D-Pad repeatedly like with the last Chain Rod method to make Zero use the Triple Rod as a pole to kick the crap out of any enemies foolish enough to get too close.

What can you come up with?

Recoil rods-
Pressing and holding down then pressing the button to use the weapon would have Zero draw the Recoil rods, he would then start spinning them in his hands like a pair of circular saws. Pressing the button would have him cleave an enemy open, or if he pressed forward and attack he could execute a dashing stab. Pressing down and attack would spin like a tornado slashing things nearby. Pressing up and attack would launch him to the sky in a flip where he spun the blades about him, cutting anything in the path.

Chain rod-
Be able to fire it at the ground and rip large chunks out of it to fling at enemies.

Chain rod- Thrusting the blade into a large object, thus turning the whole damn thing into a hammer-whip hybrid.

Chain Rod- I also think they should've expanded on the spider-man capabilities. like kick people while swingking. or doing a loop over those suspended things you latch onto so that you can gain momentum for the strength of that aformentioned kick. Seriously, I haven't seen Zero do badass things like that since X series. Aside from awesome boss-splitting shots, all I've seen is by-the-book work.

chain rod again- the ability to melee combo after the enemy is pulled in.(attacks similar to what link does in Melee/Brawl lol)

recoil rod- upon punching and destroying an enemy, the pieces of that enemy turn into flying shrapnel to damage more enemies.

triple rod- the ability to throw it at a wall and using it as a platform would've been a nice little gimmick. or perhaps having the option of throwing it, and when doing so, the thing twirls in a circular fashion(thereby making a green circle fly around) while bouncing off an enemy to hit another, thus producing a combo effect.

not really related tot he topic, but I really think they should've expanded the Z knuckle or something or another into where Zero can fight without a weapon, thus adding a combo system right there. (Which is the fun thing about Zero: he has no special weapon. everything about him is a weapon, something X8 showed very well. X4 showed it nicely as a flashback too. They've never really took Zero's skill into play as much. According to him crashing his bikes into the enemy more often than not, I assume X can do so as well.)

You could always look up a way to mod GBA games. I have the spriting skills if someone else has the coding skills.

Recoil Rods: a nice weapon, very versatile and helpful for getting to higher ground or destroying special crates, probably one of the most useful with the EX skills (Thousand Slash for example, extremely useful against all melee enemies) Would be nice though if the weapon was.... faster and each individual attack did more damage

Chain Rod: Maybe Wrap the chain around an enemy and squeeze the life out of them. (literally if you had the ex skill to drain enemy life with the chain rod.)

Triple Rod: Decapitate the enemy and while the dismembered part is in the air, use the hilt of the Triple Rod to send it flying at enemies.

Recoil Rod: Charge it and throw it at the ground underneath the enemy creating a hole in the ground, Killing them.

Chain Rod 2: Obtain a Fan Ex skill from Harpuia or something and spin the Chain Rod creating a wind. -> + B or are = A wind that sends objects behind Zero flying at enemies, also you could use objects grabbed with the Z Knuckle. <- +B with buster as sub weapon = Kill enemies with a vortex.Every time someone dies, your buster charges.With 10 kills you can shoot 4 charged shots. <- + B with Z-saber as sub weapon = Attach your saber to the chain to create a very dangerous fan. <- B with S.Boomerang = This time the S.Boomerang flies around , grabbing enemies and pulling them into the vortex.
