www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/science/article5058011.eceWell as you see there Japan is making a school dedacated to making gundams. Now I don't think it'll do so hot as gravity and wind would easly kill a gundam, but none the less this is awesome espicaly if they find a way to make it work. So I'll be moving ot Japan soon so that I can have myself a Gouf Ignited.

That's retarded. Japan is crazy.
Everyone knows that Zakus are the way to go. No, really. I don't recall there ever being any "Gundanium alloy" on this planet, so them making a Gundam pretty much lowers its value to just about Zip. It can look like one, but it won't [you]be[/you] one....
I really think they should forget about gundams and worry about Zakus...

ANd your right Gundams would not be made but still, mobile suits as a whole is awesome.

You can just imagine if they succeed though:
"Honey I'm going to work! The Mercedes is finally out so I'm taking the Honda Mecha!"
etc etc....horrible joke....*smited*

oops, you're right. Screw Zakus, Goufs are even more of the way to go. Can't believe I forgot about them.
But why start with something big? Why not mech armor...? Something that gives you a totall of 7-12 feet or something like that...?

Due to gravity and the force of wind as you get higher I fully sized mobile suit would never work. Thats whay I put in the first post that a gundam would be killed fast.

SS, I heard they've already acheived that somewhere else in japan. Except it's more like an exo-skeleton suit. I saw it on a documentary, it's quite impressive but takes a lot of programming just to perform one or two actions.

I'm surprised no one has ever come up with a code-reducing program, that limits large programming codes to just a line of codes or something.(I mean, I guess they did that with binary code, but why not even more..?)

"Gundanium alloy"... Well all they have to do is combine some metals in a new alloy (Say steel, iron, and tungsten into an alloy that has high strength, great flexibility, and eletrical resistance.) and thus they have created a new metal and can call it whatever they wish.
But as for mechs... Big? let's get something like an armored exo-suit done first. Why? because if we can get something that can closely mimic a human motion, then we can blow up the design and make it work. Plus I believe it would help solve a major issue associated with large machine creation. What problem is that? A weapon is limited by it's power supply. Big mecha gonna need a big power supply. (Cause what good is having a super powerful machine if you need to change or charge the batteries every 2 minutes? And so much for versatility of you need to have it plugged in to do anything.)

Thats why they made them nucular powered, though I doute that the goverment will allow that.

Am I missing something...?
How will they deal with the pollution waste of the nuclear energy...?
