The wonderful world where rollerblades are outfitted with motors and a whole underground world of Storm Riders who uses these "Air Trek" to compete in Parts wars with their team.

It's a really good series. I love the characters, and it's got a great plot line. I recommend it.

However i think that the anime was horrible compared to the manga. I've only watched the first episode and i'm only on Chapter 43 as of this writing but i still think the manga is better than the anime. And i'm one of those people who would rather watch it in an anime than read it in manga.

I would have to say my favorite characters so far are (in order)(subject to change):
Akito/Agito
Ringo
Ikki/Kazu
And Simca somewhere in there XD

These are the characters i find myself rooting for most out of any of them. Akito/Agito are at the top of my list because Akito is just so adorable! =3 and Agito is really cool. ^^

Because right now, I'm assuming that this is one of the most retarded anime if they're riding on some sky-bound rollerblades or whatever....and I'm the type of guy to explore the wierd anime. I love wierd anime!

Got it! Well i'll try to explain it as best as i can without spoiling much for you. Though it's kind of hard because in the beginning the main character doesn't know anything about the world of Storm Riders so everything has to be explained to him.

Well here you have the main character, Ikki. He is living with this other family who are all sisters. In the world they live in they have supped up roller blades, like i said earlier. People form in teams and have Parts Wars for Air Trek parts of even their teams emblem. After an Emblem is gone the team is disbanded. Every team has a rank and the better they get the higher rank they progress. They also have territories that they protect. At the very top there are 7 "King" of the 7 roads. It is said once they form a team and gather all of the Regelia at the base of the Trophelium then the Sky King will descend.

Ok, so back to Ikki. Within the first chapter he faces this Stormrider team called the Skull Saders. Ikki tried to face them but he gets his handed to him. Thus to try and even the playing field he tries out Air Trek. Thats when he gets into it. And as people watch him they are saying that he could be the next Sky King.

The part about Air Gear that really gets me is the whole "freedom in the skies" idea. They make many references to birds and flying free and all that. Thats the part that i really like.

And yes, and no Stryker. The Parts War battle system is based off of ranks and depending on that rank is the type of battle you fight in. So far i know that D-Class is Cube, where you fight in a 5m x 5m cube. I know that E-Class is hurdle, where you race to a finish line using buildings as hurdles that you have to clear. And i'm pretty sure that B-Class is Disk, where it's two teams of 5 faght and try to score a disk on their opponents side. And that last one is A-Class which is balloon. You basically have to catch a balloon that is flying in the air.

So depending on what Rank you are in depends on the type of battle. And as you can see not all battles are fought in the air (D-Class Cube Battle). But the majority of the battles are fought in the air.

He's alot like that guy who has the three personaltys. Tanja only has two and each see through a diffrent eye, which is also a diffrent color.
