What was the worst anime or manga you have ever seen? Please explain why you thought it was bad. (Just saying "cause it sucked" is unacceptable.)

Yours cuz it sucked!!! D:
I'm not too fond of code guieeeious--whatever. It's something about the same art style of Eureka 7, and the (obvious)redundancy of not one, but TWO jap. bands that makes me dislike the series. I've never stayed with it long enough to know anything more than what seems like the Japanese are fighting the Brits or something.....with Gundams, and people having special powers as if they might go the Bleach/Naruto route by taking something made popular by a an anime before it(In B/N's case, action eye candy, the "I must get stronger than the last saga!!!!" thing, ect...) by calling these peeps with powers:
..............[you]Neo[/you]--types.........
.....I'd hate to have that happen....D:<
Basically, I'm saying nothing more than voicing my opinion that it sucks. Do I still get yelled at...?

No, I'm just gonna yell at you D:<
I don't see how you could NOT like Code Geass, then again it's something that's more on storyline and development. You clearly haven't stated what you thought of that, to me the main character is just another Kira.
Anyways, least favorite?... I'm not really sure if I have any least favorites...

Worst anime/manga series ever? Well, alot of people will clearly take alot of titles from the genre that Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! and Beyblade belong in, a strange world where noone knows what fist-fighting is so they solve all their problems by playing some sort of game. It's supposed to be kid-friendly, but if you ask me it seems like a good way to get kids into gambling.
Anyway, I too will take a name from that genre. Dinosaur King. It's essentially Pokemon, but instead of magical animals, Dinosaurs trapped in cards are scattered across the planet and two groups are trying to claim the most of them. And that's not the end of the Pokemon references. Both shows have dubs made by 4!Kids, and they actually used the same voice actors.
The reason I'm calling it the worst ever is that it replaced everything that ever made the Pokemon series appealing with crappy CG dinosaurs and dialouge that's pretty much trying and failing to replicate the characterization of the Pokemon cast.

Post-timeskip Naruto.
Srsly.
I feel like some twisted masochist reading the new chapters of it on a weekly basis. Every damn time following fresh plot turns and some odd revelations, it simply makes me groan in pure disapproval as they're always composed of pure lame.
Ie. (spoiler alert for anime-watchers?) Orochimaru returns abruptly in a stupidest fashion only to be instakilled by some deus ex machina of Itachi? WTF?! That had to be the most retarded crap I've ever had to torment my eyesight with!
As far as the anime of it goes, just watch the grandiose battle of Gai vs his copy. /vomit

I'd have to say Azumanga Daioh as one of the worst I've ever seen... (A grand total of 2 eps and part of a third was enough to convince me of it's drudgery.)
My reasoning behind declaration of it as worst is thus: It makes a joke, then inserts an unecessarily long pause for laughter or comedic effect. (Possibly this is how long it takes some people to come to the conclusion: "Hey, this is funny I should laugh.") And then continue through the episode playing off the same joke (that quite ironic, to me anyway, wasn't funny the first time and another use of unnecessary pause.) The resulting effect makes the episode drag on far longer than it should. (If you've ever been to a class where there is one, or possibly two kids, who can't follow along and so they needlessly interrupt and ask questions the whole time, then you will know exactly how this anime will grate on your nerves.) And this was just the first 3 episodes... Now maybe it could have gotten better... but seeing from the length of the series and how the first episodes went, I'd say that it's highly unlikely they deviated from their formula. (Likely this is an anime that if your not hooked by the end of the second, or possibly third episode at the latest, your not going to enjoy it. )
What's worse for me is that this anime seems to have all kinds of fans and praise... Which has really led me to question the intelligence of people even more so than I already do. It seriously makes me wonder, did all these people's mothers wash their clothes with lead based soap, consume a litre of vodka and smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day? Or did they all just get dropped on their heads a few too many times.

Azumanga Daioh? haven't seen that yet, but I hear it's funny... I might as well try to see what you mean by that virus
Yes I know, I'm coming out of the blue and counter-acting D:

I generally hate the anime style in general, and find it a terrible way to visualize a story or event.
Other than that I really dislike Anime that try to seem legit, with our current histories, etc, and fail miserably at it; see Naruto. Ninjas do not wear bright colours and shurikens and kunai are not weapons, shoo.
All in all, i'm a novel man. TV and colouring books aren't my thing =P

I gave a round of applause to his middle set of statements. I also disliked sonic X. Knuckles is a little gullible, as seen by the games, but the series flaunted it too damn much. Plus everyone was held down by chris. I know some of you might think in some way it was necessary, but I say screw you/that. I wanted to see Sonic at his most adventurous, and Knuckles at his most,......everything. I'm much rather see a Knuckles the echinda anime, and for the creators NOT to screw it up.

I've got to agree with Miguel, Sakon, and VZ.
VZ: I commend (I think that's the word) you. I couldn't even finish the first ep of that.
The worst I think I've seen is FLCL. It was a six ep series that, to me, made less sense then Bobobo. Some people like it. Heck, its in my best friends top three, but its just not for me.
But seriously, Robots bursting out of a kids head?!

Sorry for all those narutards out there but Imust say Narito is one of my top hated anime, several reasons why:
1) Bad voice actors, sure they have the theme music but the voice actors cannot top it
2) Lack of action, yeah there maybe some action, but most of it is just talking or just plain god damn crap ><' Even the crappy Naruto flases on newgrounds have more action.

The Naruto Anime is completely unwatchable, dubbed or subbed its just a snore fest with information I really could care less about and characters that don't attract my attention at ALL. (though the naruto manga is fairly decent).
And arc... you do realize that naruto isn't trying to be "legit" with ANY history.... you could say it takes place in a completely different dimension, so that would be a poor example for your argument about those kinds of Animes.
Also taking ALL of Anime and calling it bad? Have you seen Spirited Away? Princess Mononoke? those are both great anime movies that keep novel fans like me attentive. In fact, one of the reasons I like Anime is at first I was into fantasy NOVELS, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

I'm a manga/comic person. I don't watch anime unless it's VERY good and unavailable in Manga form (Such as KnK, Mononoke, .hack//SIGN...etc)
But of those I've seen, the worst is probably Full Metal Alchemist. I mean, the manga is amazing with a very good story, concepts and characters. But not the anime, the anime is horrible. God, just because they couldn't wait for the manga to catch up, they make up their own story. And obviously the result of that is absolute failure. Not only the story was filled with failure, it also had an immense amount of plotholes that the manga is started to reveal right now and because of that, the anime never fixes them up. Probably the same will happen to the Soul Eater anime due to being a monthly released manga.
I'd rather have Naruto-sized fillers than an alternate story. Seriously.
I think the same happened to Negima! but I've never watched that show but it's most likely since it's ended and the manga is anything but near the end.

I heard that there making a new FMA anime, one that will follow the manga and have no fillers
Does anyone know why Negima split the plot half? The first one followed the manga, but had him make as few pacts as possible. The second one had the pacts but ignored the rest of the plot
