What are some games that have never had a sequal that you will go back and play on a semi-regular basis? Do you wish they had a sequal or would you rather they leave it and don't try and mess with a sequal?
Two of my all time favorites are NES titles. 1. Xexyz - I might be interested in a sequal to this one. 2. POW - Don't mess with a great game.

I know what you mean. Mischief makers was a great game yet it was too short and never had a sequel.

I never found Mischeif Makers that fun......
Then again, I never got past the first level D: But I saw my friend fight some huge transformer-looking guy. It was pretty cool.
Anywho, There was a japanese game called Destrega that should've been fully brought to America. I was only able to play it through the use of the infamous mod chip. Still have it at my step grandma's house. I'd really like to know the storyline of the game. Plus the main character is the first in a few years who has become my favorite without being of the fire element. Though he is close, as his is the earth element.
Also I think they should remake bloody roar for the new generation. I wanna see Hugo in some good graphics.

I never found Mischeif Makers that fun...... Really, you didn't like it? I thought it was great as you could shake people and the chick would just say "Shake Shake"

There's Warrior Kings on PC
It had a second game, but that wasn't really a sequel, since in the 2nd one you basically go around and conquer everything.
Whereas the first game had some story in it

Raikon, they made a version for the nes hence where the term originally came from. From Wikipedia Zero Wing Platform(s) Arcade, PC Engine, Sega Mega Drive You're probably thinking of another game.

The system it came out on doesn't matter. I know there have been games that came out on other systems. Mention those too.
Another favorite I have is Megaman Network Transmission. Personally, I wish they would have continued to create intermediate games between the battle networks (other than Battle Chip Challenge). It was also great because it went back to the more traditional formula for a Mega Man game, instead of using the Battle Network style. It's also nice because I actually have to try to beat the Life Virus.

Well personally, I liked Battle Chip Challenge. Network Transmission, from what I'm told, had a difficulty curve that ranged from "mild challenge" to "You are not ever beating this game ever, el oh el oh el oh el oh el!!". I doubt there'd be a sequel unless there were some changes made to the game engine.
As for One-Hit-Wonders, I'm not sure if No More Heroes counts because it hasn't been out long enough to lessen the odds of a sequel, and Suda 51 said that he'd make another if the original sold well enough, but still, I'd like to see another No More Heroes game.

XD The game was pretty challenging, but not that hard. The only thing about that game that fitted that last phrase was fighting Bass. he was hard as Sh1t. I'll admit that.(In fact, you don't even beat him. He loses interest in you...lol) I too would like to see a second of the game, one having the beast-out ability integrated into it. That'd be pretty awesome.
