I've recently obtained the new MGS4 what else do I have to say? It's a little different from the others I've seen being played by my friend and the new features give Snake a bit of an edge and the same time it doesn't feel like a metal gear game. Any takers on the subject?

I can't comment yet... As I don't have the game just yet. (I hope to have enough money to pick it up this friday though...)

I heard you have to stop and take medicine or some sort of burden-carrying task. Does it look like it can become annoying enough to piss a hot-tempered guy off? If so, I'll have to tell my bro, who is aiming to get this as well. When he came back from the war, his temper skyrocketed...I don't want him breaking his ps3 only recently after he got it....(While at the same time, the guy's a game master...hmmm...)

To virus good man this game is awesome for the supposed end to the Metal Gear saga I'd say I can't wait to get more replys from you about opinion on the last installment. To Silver.... Well it varies from traditional format so assault is usually the last option you really need. So if he gets angry he can blow loss on all the soldiers but, it will say otherwise stay stealthy and don't get caught shotting with a loud gun. I will try not to spoil anything about it to you guys witness things on your own okay because I'm already on Act 2 and its more fun if no one is spoiling the story too much and any unique features you may come by. But, in general be prepared of being spotted unless your an extremly stealthy person than this game is not for you for pataince is the key to getting throught this game. As for your brother must be recovering from shock of some sort than because war can be a cruel mistress to a person's phyche so be careful around him and make sure he tries to stay cool if he gets this game so good luck and I pray for the better if that is the case.

Ok that works I guess... But, yes it is actually a pretty good game and it explained a lot things. Which I thought was a good way to really end this series.

In an interesting turn of events, I won't be buying this game friday because my brother bought it today...
So I've had about 2 to 2 and a half hours of play time in the game, and all I can say is wow. From the very beginning the game looks amazing. (The whole intro... if it's digitally created looks exactly like someone video taped it. It really is that hard to tell if it's prerendered cinematics or real video footage.)
Snake himself seems to have shown his age in looks but not in ability. Snake has more moves than ever in this game, and the controls are highly refined to match.
I'm liking the new weapons set up, it makes a load more sense over previous versions. (Though I won't spill the details for those prospectors who've not yet picked up this game.) But suffice it to say it adds a new level of strategy to how and when you use your weapons.
As for the story... No comment as I don't want to say anything and risk giving away some plot... No risk spoiling anything this way. But as for my understanding thus far it's supposed to explain everything. And if you're a metal gear fan, then it is imperitive that you beat this masterpiece.
And how could I forget... Metal Gear Online. I've yet to sample this so I can't say much about it other than I'll be giving it a shot in the future. And if it is as good as it sounds then it might replace CoD4 as my current favourite online game.

The story is Better than any Hollywood movie created on this day and age, as for the online, Its a pain in the to get it, as you have to get a Konami ID, Online website... then Come up with a whole bunch of crap... I lucked out since I had already created one for the beta...

Well good and I already beat it on liquid easy or panzi or Cat mode as my uncle likes to call it. The purpose behind that difficulty was to help me to get used to all new mechanics of the game so I did kind of feel like a master and at the same time a newb.... depressing.... Anyways yes continue playing and ask away if you need any assistance etc come to me if necessary if you have too much trouble in one spot...

I don't play the games, bt I'm a hardcore MGS fan. I've been there with my bro, watching him do everything in that game. Henceforth, I'm very interested in the storyline. My bro is still opting to get the game AND platform, meaning I won't be seeing this game for a while. That as well as he's going through things right now.(I couldn't care less what I got for my B-Day, as long as he calls me...but he didn't.)
Main point: Can someone PM me the storyline?

I'm playing though on normal mode for my first try... Since I was decent in the others and never had much of a problem in them.
As for the online... So what? you have to create a new id... That really isn't all that hard. And if you stop and think why they did it, then it makes sense. ( It's so that one username can have multiple characters... Either so that the one username can have multiple different people playing online and not need separate accounts for them to do so. OR so that one person can have a few different characters and make each one look different and if they have weapon specializations, then have each character specialize with a different sort of weapon.)
