I just beat the second hunter in Prime 3 and I must say that this is the greatest fps I've ever played ever. The lock-on system is brilliant, as is the general gameplay. And yet, as is for every other metroid game I've ever played, the doors don't always open right after you shoot them... oh, well, I can deal with that in exchange for the general awesomeness of the game.

I beat the game a few hours ago. It was definetly one of the best games that I've ever played. The last boss was kinda disappointing though.

Man, I am just more wanting to get a Wii and that game right now. Unfortunately, I've got car insurance to help pay for and $150 disappeared randomly, which I am completely puzzled about.

Metroid Prime 3 is freakin awsome! I still think BioShock is better.. Even so, they're not the exact same type of game.

I beat Prime 3. Shic urged me to play the first, and like some other games, the first was just too obsolete by the 2nd/3rd(others would be the Kingdome Hearts series or the DBZ games.)

I've beaten the first one on normal, but beyond that I want to pick up the 2nd one eventually. But I know that I'm not likely to go for the 3rd... Seeing as how I don't own a rev. And it's highly unlikely that I will for some time, if I ever do decide to get it. (I'll probably just skip this generation of nintendo and see what they do next time, and hope they make their next console backwards compatible with gamecube and rev. )

I got the third for Christmas, I haven't played too much. I just beat Ghor and got the plasma beam. But I like it a lot. I have yet to decide if its my favorite or not but I think it could be. The other bounty hunters and the cutscenes fill in the gaps that Prime 1 had. My biggest complaint with the first game was lack of cutscenes and direction. Its really good.

The other bounty hunters and the cutscenes fill in the gaps that Prime 1 had. My biggest complaint with the first game was lack of cutscenes and direction. Its really good. You gotta admit, though, when Prime 1 came out not long after the GCN's release, it was a game definitely worth playing. However as time goes on the more recent games take a better shine and overall appeal better than ones that came out earlier; the Metroid Prime series is no stranger to this. Prime 1 was simply awe-inspiring with it's lush graphics, the massive environment, the concept of Metroid as a FPS, and the challenge of finding 100% and completing Hard mode. Prime 2 was a slight improvement, amping the difficulty up with the concept of ammunition for the extra beam weapons (you gotta admit, they are quite potent if used correctly), and overall tougher enemies to defeat. Multiplayer becomes waaaaay too one-sided when good powerups are obtained (Super Missle, Death Ball, the Morph Ball Cannon) and is not the strong point of Prime 2 Prime 3 was essentially made for the Wii. The new powerups make good use of the Remote + Nunchuk as a duo (especially the Grapple Lasso for ripping off shields and Wave Grapple for zapping enemies), the ability to free-aim anywhere on the screen definitely helps when you're trying to get a lock-on. The story is definitely richer in Prime 3 than the other 2, with the origins of Phazon the interplanetary travel to prevent it's spread (the link to Prime 1 and maybe 2). The overall difficulty kinda suffers (especially on Easy) with only 100 total powerups, and the enemies are easy to predict and read into (including the more powerful ones when you revisit areas). The only ones I have now are Prime 2 and Prime 3. Still trying to get 100% on Prime 2 and I was going through my 2nd playthrough on Normal mode on Prime 3 when Brawl came out. @fenrir: *cough*Load Times*cough*

Which reminds me: Tank, ZX, can we exchange friend codes so we can get points? I don't even know anyone else with Prime 3.

Eh, I've not played Prime 3 since making that post which is sad because it is such a great game. I've been busy. What do the friend codes do, I never took the time to figure that out.

Exchanging special Friend Vouchers for green Friend Tokens for extra stuffs. That's pretty much it for Prime 3's Wi-fi stuff.
