Lunar: Dragon Song

About a week after getting my PSP and somehow getting bored with it, I was checking out www.lunar-net.com I saw the screenshots for Lunar: Dragon Song for the DS and I made the decision to get rid of my PSP and go for the DS.

I've known about Dragon Song for a while now and from some of the screenshots I've seen on it, it's looking impressive. Also, this is the first new installment to the Lunar series for over ten years (Silver Star Story Complete, Eternal Blue Complete, Lunar Legend, and Magic School were all remakes of older games).

This game is not a sequel to the Lunar series, but a prequel to Lunar: The Silver Star and takes place 1,000 years prior to it. You start off as a character named Jian, and you meet up with Lucia (Not the same Lucia from Eternal Blue in case you were wondering), and the story takes off from there.

The basic outline of the plot is that humans and the beastmen are separated into areas on Lunar, and the Vile Tribe threaten to break the balance of Lunar with their dark magic.

Apparantly not too many plot details have been released thus far, and there remains much to question, but looking at this game, I must say that the future of Lunar may be back on the loop. Well I hope so anyways. But if any of you hear any more details on the game, be sure to post them here on this thread, kay? Later.

I'd buy it for sure if it was for PSP, why? Because it's UbiSoft, the company I wanna work for once I'm old enough and know enough. I started playing Prince of Persia, The Sands of Time last night, pretty cool, very nice idea, but there's a few things that I hate about it, and I hate it in all third person view games, THEY'RE ANNOYING.

www.lunar-net.com has updated their Dragon Song webpage and now has details on all the charcters, a translated magazine article, etc.

I had forgotten to mention this in my last post, but even though the box art on the game itself says Ubisoft (They did Lunar Legend BTW), Game Arts still is responsible for a major portion of the game. And on top of this, Dragon Song is supposed to retain the humor and emotion of all the previous games (funny item descriptions, corny jokes, etc.)

Lunar rocks so much.And this game promises to be good one too.The screenshots look so cool.I love Lunar though I have only played "Lunar 2 silver star sroty.It rocked.

I wish I had a DS.I would buy naruto's new game for DS too ^^

I rented Lunar:SSS, but.. the CD kept crashing before you left the first town, so I had to return.. then I got another game! Which.. also didn't work, because it was scracthed. >_<
