how the hell do i put a custom picture on my avatar? may sound nooby, but i tried opening with the internet, and it still doesnt work.

Ok, you go to www.imageshack.us and upload the picture there. You then go to the very bottom of the page after it's done uploading and copy the link nect to Direct Link to Image. Then you paste the link into the ... thing where you put your avatar URL. |

What in the world could you be testing that requires you to post? Both your avatar and signature can be viewed in your profile, and I do not see you posting images.
And by the way, your avatar does not work. Use imageshack.us instead of shrinkpictures.com. If resizing is your problem, you can usually either do it yourself with simple tools like MS Paint, or ask someone to do it for you.

As have someone create a sig/avatar for you? Or put one in your profile/posts?
If you want someone to make an avatar for you, you have to ask... But I'll caution you that most people will probably not want to create an avatar for someone right away. You'd likely have to post around a bit so people get to know you a bit more.
As for how to put an image into the profile:
1. Click either on profile at the top of the page, or click on your name.
2- then there should be a link called "Modify Profile", click it.
3- Scroll down and locate the box called "Avatar url"
4- Enter the url of the image you want to use as your avatar here. (Preferrably use imageshack or photobucket to host the image to prevent any hosting issues.)
5- In the boxes marked "Avatar Height" and "Avatar Width" enter 100 for both of them.
6- Scroll to the bottom and click the "Modify Profile" button.
