ok I have no idea where else to put this thread so I'll go here.
here goes, I plan to go to an anime convention as a sound ninja from naruto, my fav Dosu adn I need help on how to make a suit like his I have the shoes, bandeges, headband, but I need a way to make the Sh**, hay rain thing, and the sound amplafire.
any ideas will be acepted (my back up is Sakon)

Here's an idea for the sound amplifier. Take a jar and spray paint it the color of the sa. Now, take out the bottom of the jar and poke in some holes. Take your arm through the bottom of the jar and out of the top. Not sure how that looks, but i'm guessing it'll look like that.

hmm, maybe you could ask some experienced costume/prop designers that attend other conventions? you may have to google to find them, but it may be better to get advice from them cause they'd know alot better than me. That is unless anyone else on FZ has experience with costume/prop design?

For the sound amplifier, you could make it out of clay or paper mache, I don't know abot anything else.

the jar is a nice idea but it would'nt look right as its not metal a shiny plastic no offence, but I appreaceate teh thought and I might have to use it anyway

Some mettalic silver paint would probably fix the non-metal look.
