If there was a thread on this, sorry for repeating it. If not, YAY!
Anyway, this is about the wicked cool vampire hunting vampire: Alucard. And his friends I suppose... This is NOT spoiler free, so if you want to read the manga, go away now.
What I found interesting is that it continues from the famous "Dracula" novel. I read the book, which is good whatever you guys say, and The Leage of Extraordinary Gentlemen has a charecter from Dracula: Mina Murray, or in the movie, Mina Harker. She was bit by Dracula, fed on his blood, and was 'supposedly' freed from his curse when Johnathan Harker (Mina's husband) and Quincy Morris (used in Castlevania) "killed" Dracula by cutting off his head and stabbing his heart, whats left of it anyway. But it seems like Quincy died for nothing. Dracula lived, thanks to Abraham Van Helsing (or Hellsing). He sought a cure for vampirism, but he knew he was only mortal. He kept the remains of our undead friend in his family. Eventually, our little Integra Hellsing found him, fed him, and became his master. He was trapped for 20 years, but looked cool. Blonde hair and black outfit. What happened to his moustashe? Yea, Dracula had a stash, but apparently he got rid of it. He went under the name Alucard, probably to redeem himself and attain mortality. Yes, Mortality. He WANTS death's sweet embrace. I would want death too if I lived about....what....500 years? Simply put, fly into the sun. Ok, I'm done.
