This is a weird MMX1 glitch that no site that I have seen to date has documented, I've sent it to a couple of sites and they still haven't posted it. I even sent it to a site that is dedicated to glitches in video games and got no response. So, for those interested, this is the one and only place you will find this glitch (that I am aware of). My youger brother discovered this long ago. It's not a tactical type of glitch, it's just a glitch for amusement.
Go into Storm Eagles stage before you defeat him and have at least one other Maverick killed. When you get to the ship, go through the first (not to mention only and optional) boss door and as you are passing through it, change weopons using L or are. You will disappear into thin air. You may have to be charging your X-buster for this to work, (that is if you don't have the X-buster enhancement). I'll test this out to be sure sooner or later and post the results.
Note: I do not know if this glitch carried over to MMMHX, but I don't think it would, especially considering that the game has revamped graphics. The glitch (unlike half of the sound effects) did carry over to X Collection though.
