This thread is here firstly to get rid of that last thread from the main page, secondly what would they do after they finish making these series? Obviously the ZX series would end with how the whole world floods, as for ZN I have no idea since not much of the storyline has been revealed yet.
So now I wonder what kind of series would Capcom make with Megaman after these series are finished?

I think they will continue with the Megaman Legends or Continue the X series..... Like make it like the FINAL FANTISY games, theres like 30 freakin final fantasy games........I have played 1 and it !SUCKED!
so yeah I think thats going to happen.... or when the Playstation "X" (I just made that up) comes out theyll make a game called MEGAMAN ENTIRE COLLECTION!!!!!

MEGAMAN AXL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe there gonna make megaman axl they already made Megaman Zero and Megaman X....... AXL is the one left, ... no Bass (fish) wouldn't count cuzz he is in the megaman series... and im sure forte is DEAD!!!!.... And that thing that AXL can morph or change his appearence...... and AXL sprites.... AWSOME...

No double posting, and I doubt there will be a Megaman Axl coz I think they're gonna kill him off in X9, coz I kinda spoiled myself by watching the cinematics in X8, and the fact that I'll never find X8 anymore

Capcom of Japan affirmed that they would NOT continue the Rockman, Rockman X and Rockman Dash (Legends) series.
Capcom of Japan said they WOULD make a Rockman Axl if enough fans demanded it, but there weren't enough fans that would love an Axl game, so Capcom quit on that project

WHAT? they ended Megaman X with X8? come on atleast give us a proper ending wrapping things up and transfering us to the next story line. you know they could have continued the X series by after sigma was dead going on to the Elf wars which would lead into the Zero series.

in Zero series the elf wars had already been fought, and it was the cause of the creation of the mother elf/dark elf from zero 3 and it is why Weil is so angry with the world plus it is where omega came from, he was banished from arcadia during the elf wars.
command mission isn't x9, it's like a side quest.

I think if there was an X9 they should do something about Axl, its not like he disappeared during the Elf Wars, its like something happened to him before the Elf Wars

That's what everyone says about Bass (Forte), but sadly the questions to what happens to the characters of the Megaman series are to be left unanswered, unless this wa their original intention so they could make a game out of it and all the plot holes to these series could finally be answered without people making anymore assumptions as t what happened.

The Elf Wars happen between the X and Zero series.
It isn't the first time Capcom leaves such a huge plothole between series.

Well Capcom did release a drama CD of what happened in the Elf Wars (it's in Japanese), but with nothing of what happened to Axl, since he was just an add in, and X5 was supposed to be the last of the X series.
