No, remakes are bad. Once or twice is ok, but remaking every megaman game is just a sign of lazyness.

It's spelled Axl.
Capcom said they would make Rockman Axl if only many people wanted it

i dunno, if they remade them all into a single game might be nice, not like a collection but a new game where you play as megaman and go through the game fighting all the bosses getting new power ups ( ie ability to equip any 8 weapons you want, and use 2 different weapons at a time. ) in a 3d environment might be cool but only if done right. ( i do like the idea of 3d megaman, because as much as everyone hated X7, i didn't find it all that bad. and command mission was pretty good though a bit short. )

X7 wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either. Megaman belongs to side-scrollers!

A first person shooter wouldn't be too bad if they did it right. Look at meteroid, traditionally a 2d sidescroller game was done right. Meteriod Prime is great and if they made megaman similar, yet still different, that would be a nice game.

Huh, I just thought of something...
You know about the Revolution controler, right? Maybe some sword-swinging Zero action on its way?
Also, I do think a FPS is worth a shot at least. Online would be cool, you could customize your player with parts, and gun pick-ups would be actual robot master weapons...
*Edit* I know both of these wouldn't be traditional Megaman games at all, but it's had so many spin-offs, two more couldn't hurt.

i heard that Metroid Prime 3 is going to be on the revolution, so the controler has to work for the arm cannon. if they used it, you can use the analog add-on to move or aim. hmmm.... well, they have some time to make a game. i wonder what it will be...

I don't really like the Metroid Prime series, I only enjoyed the Metroid sidescrollers, not this.

Yeah, but I think they might end the 2-D games.
There was going to be one, but they stoped working on it...
Anyway, the Prime Series is pretty good. The first was great, and so is Hunters. Hunters is one of the best portable games with good single player and awsome multiplayer.

hmmmm... Well, if any of you palayed Knights of the Old Republic, they could do something like that. Well, now that i think about it, that could work very well. but they will need to jump on command. aaaaaaaaaand...... cloaks. they need cloaks..... HEY! they could use the ZX series for this game! and as for the droids, Mechanaloids! There are so many things they could do.
