that would be so terribly awesome...that's it's improbable they'll do it. =P But a nice MegaMan History/TimeLine would be so cool....from MM1 to MML, all explained... Why can we use Vile in Irregular Hunter X??? Hmm.... If they DID do it, the game would have to come out on ALL the systems, not just exclusive to one system only. As you said sainankurai, it'll never be done.

Why would Capcom throw away a money making franchise? Think again bubs, the serie will never end, there will be more and more series where that came from. As for the part:
Megaman Legend never really worked, I don't know why they would do remakes and try and sell them...
Megaman Classic will be replaced with the power up series
Megaman X will continue in an infinite hole of crappy game (Since the last GOOD Megaman X was 5... The rest were uter b.s.)
Exe is over? Oh well, that was an interesting twist to the RPG...
Zero was over since the Nintendo DS was announced, a new console, a new serie.
Ditto.

Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X are only remakes, they won't last forever. At least the EXE and Zero series had a proper ending while the X and Classic series were left open

Actually, Megaman Classic was left open for X to continue, X is not a spinoff but a follow-up of the classic serie...

Yes but Capcom never made a Megaman 9 or Megaman X9 to explain what happened in between of both series

Actually... The serie as it is was supposed to end with MMX6 (But the quest for money said no about that...) because Zero, came back yet again from the death but has been placed into a time capsule which would prevent him of infecting other people with the Zero virus, therefore limiting the range of the infection. But you also get a pretty "ghey" ending where Zero 's still there with the gang and they say "Let's build a better world"...
The first ending leads to Megaman Zero which continues the series... But yeah, they wanted to make more money out of the X serie so they made horrible games with them so fan boy can wiggle in their fatty hides knowing that X and Zero are still fighting Sigma for world peace... Sorry but for me, the X serie would have had to stop at the 5th or 6th episode, whichever is the better...

Huh, good points..
I don't think Megaman will die for awhile though, He's become almost as popular as Mario and Sonic. While they're may not be many new entries in the Megaman universe, they're will be a lot of re-makes.
A LOT.
We've already seen that Megaman has had many compolations and re-makes. Also, they're hasnt been a compolation for the Legends, Zero, or Battle Network series.
So, Megaman may not die for awhile. He's going to be doing a lot of half-assed games, but I don't think he's done quite yet.

I seriously doubt there will be a compilation for the legends and zero series. Legends has 2 games, Zero has 4, thats not enough for a collection. And everything above makes sense, its logical. The problem with this logic is that capcom isn't thinking logically, every recent decision has been irational and stupid. Its like they want Megaman to die.
In my opinion ZX is shaping up to be the last series for capcom. They are including characters from virtually every series, and why else would they gather all the characters in one place than to say goodbye.

As said EARLIER, why kill something that brings a LOT of money?
ZX mutliple cameos is only for the Megaman Fanboy to be jiggling on his [CENSORED] knowing that "OMG RUSH'S THERE! OMG ROLL'S THERE" and such... The way to bring more money to them =)
I don't think Megaman is dead... It's not in shape but it's far, really far from dead...
As for the thing about the remakes, Legend as a few cameos of it's own, NamcoXCapcom, Marvel Vs. Capcom and such good games, for Zero, way too soon to say it deserves a remake and I do think it may continue somehow though the critics weren't really into the series.
Capcom should stop making lookalikes lines of game and do one shot wonders using a well-established franchise... Not followups with a minor upgrade...

Hey, I could see a legends colection on the PSP.
Or, a Zero compolation on the DS. It could happen.

Hey, I could see a legends colection on the PSP. Or, a Zero compolation on the DS. It could happen. That would be most unlikely for the moment, there's a lot of Capcom investment going into other concept games like Devil May Cry, Resident Evil and other well established franchises who could get some extra make-over and most certainly, redo the whole SNES "Megaman X" series who, with the magic they put in "Maverick Hunter X" could do a Sh** load of money knowing that they had to change de story drasticly in order to make that game special. I won't spaz the spoilers of the game just yet but you may get a few suprises once you play MHX!

Also, Battle Network. It was pretty popular, and has I think 5 games.
Thats enough for a collection.

I seriously think Capcom should focus on releasing one very strong game of for a follow-up, not an exact copy of the game plus upgrades... The Mega phenomenon has become out of control, more than 10 games per year under the franchise of MegaMan is out. Though I said earlier that's a money maker, trying to get the juice out of the franchise out too fast may kill it drasticly...
