Ok why do people always argue about this, Zero,X,Harpiua,Phantom,Fefnier,Leivathine,Axl,wile and I guess I should include Omega are NOT DEAD! they live through Biomedals adn teh other 5 which are yet to be know from MMZXA the Bio's have a will and they speek of remembering a time of when they use to fight therefor they have there memres and personalties, thats all they need to be alive cuz there robos they only need a body of sme sort and thats Biomedals

I don't really argue about it, I just don't beleve that Zero, X or the Guardians actually died. Besides... Nothing showed that the Guardians actualy died. Just mysteriusly dissapeared.

That's what you think. There was a thread about the gaurdians fate, and it had proof in a book direct from Capcom that the gaurdians went boom when Omega (in Zero's original body) 'sploded, and that the reaspn Zero survived is because the mother elf protected him and brought him to the Resistnace base. As for my two cents on the subject of the forehead gems, they serve actual, functional, purposes. They are the cameras that let reploids see (so you can stab them in both eyes with forks, and they could still sim a counter punch between your eyes), they're their the microphones so they can hear you, and they help them speak. And Zero could be rebuilt. If someone can find the memory disc Zero had, then they could rebuild him.

When reploids die, they become cyber elves and go to the cyber world. So in a way, they're all alive, just as cyber elves. Then Ciel got the cyber elves somehow and put them into the biometals, which is why the biometals hold their personalities.

It's never said just how cyber elfs are created... so it may take a long time to make one and if that is the case (as I would think it.) Especially because cyber elfs are beings made of data (And it would take a massive amount of data to be able to perform some of the functions they do, while being able to talk, form free thoughts and move around in the real world. *)

*SIDE NOTE- I'm basing this on what I know of the closest thing to AI we could have is thousands of cpus interlinked and running very basic learning programs by algorythms that mimic the human body's nerves, in an all or nothing trigger system. (That is, either the experience registers enough to trigger the system to learn it or it doesn't.)

So back to my point, cyber elfs might take hours to be made, and if a cyber elf was being converted from a reploid... it could take a very long time, so long that it would be impossible to convert on death, as people propose it would.

(Again this is based on the idea that if this were a reality the processors and amount of data would be massively scaled versions of what we have now, so everything would still be proportionally based.)

As for the cyber elves i think you have a point. would take a shitload of time to create one... But in Zero's case its been a bit more or less 2 years (Counting since MMZ4 was released in US) since he ''Died''. And I think that would be a suficent amount of time to make a cyber elf out of him.

But think about Phantom, he wasn't only a secret boss like Omega was in ZX so his appearance in MMZ3 was canon. And he died in MMZ1 and was a cyber elf in Z3. How many years is that?

Its about 1,5 or so years i think... But did he really cameo in MMZ3? Never noticed that... More info on the matter please?

In Z3, at the next to last level, You go into the door that leads to cyberspace, then at the part with the floating platforms, you go all the way to the left which will have a door at the end. Go in and you'll see a teleport, which you go into. You then have to fight phantom and when you beat him you get teleported out and there's a data disk with the Ultimate foot chip in it.

If they managed to retrieve part/all of the control chip, then it could be the real phantom. Otherwise the phantom cyber elf is not the original phantom. It would have been recreated from battle data recorded from phantom's previous fights and based off the originals specifications. As far as memory goes, it would have to be recreated. (Possibly from other's memories of phantom...)

Maby, or his chip was in some wierd way transformed into a Cyber elf. More or less supports my reploid logic.
