Too bad they got rid of it in MMZ4... But how could they? Isn't the sheild boomerang Zero spinning his Z saber really really fast? I needed the sheild boomerang badly today playing 'artificial sun' mission, and I've got a question... If you can't stand in the sun, how can the enemies stand there waiting for you to come out of the shade  |

It's artificial sun. Therefore they could've rigged it so that Zero is the only one who is damaged by it.
The shield boomerang is no where close to the Z-saber. You can tell if you look at the Zero 2 booklet.

Yeah, they could've rigged it that way   I guess my thoughts on the boomerang were driven by waves of fan-art and fan-fic, plus that horrid MMZ comic.(Some parts were kinda good though.) At least it's not like how some people say that zero's saber is hidden in the top of the buster... That really drives me crazy. Poor old me just bought used versions of the games, with just the cartridge, so I wouldn't know really -.- |

from a story line perspective, i'd say that the enemies in that level were designed to take the heat so they can handle it, zero isn't design to have to deal with that intense heat.
and as for the shield boomerang, of course it isn't the same, how could he use his saber while his shield boomerang was thrown?

 damn that comic, it ruined me. Why didn't zero ever ask for more than that little Z-buster? He could have had a lot more power. Though, is that what the X-form was trying to accomplish? It should've changed the graphic, in addition to the name. I personally like the buster, though. It's neat to kill so much with just rapid shooting.

I saw your reply to my post Netto, i didnt noe bout the modify button back then, but i like z-saber anyways. Z buster, not the knuckle but rod is good once you get 1000 slash ex skill from deathtanz mantisk ( thats y i think he "kind of" rocks) so yea, basically recoil and saber are some of teh pwnage, i also wonder y no one has taken z buster into account.

The recoil rod is weak, and 1000 slash takes too much time. I just plow through with the saber. I don't like not moving, because then I don't get 20's on time.
