ya I noticed that the buster had more 'pink' in the charge shots and in the previous game.

yea,and look at the sprites of the armors from one to four.notice how they're all upgraded vrsions of the last?the fourth may not look it,but I think that's just because of the graphic update.

I gotta go with the golden armor. Why? because The Light armor is extremely basic granting dash and a heatbutt, a bigger buster shot and tougher armor. The dash is standard armor features after that... so it reduces it's effectiveness, a head butt is fairly useless beyond getting the buster parts, as you can't actually use it for an attack (Though it'd be better if you could.)
The Giga armor is also fairly weak... The giga strike does very little damage for all the energy required to fire it. The item tracer is also pretty useless as it is rarely used. Air dash is good but again, later armors also grant this. The dual buster is it's only real redeeming feature, but again this is trumped by the Max/Golden armor.
The Max armor is just a powered down version of the Golden armor, so it is fairly good until you can get the Golden armor and then the fun begins.
As far as the extra capsules go, Hadouken makes the Light armor a bit better but still not good enough to replace theGolden armor. The Shoryken is also pretty good but like the Hadouken it needs full health to work and so it is often just not worth it if you get hit before you can pull the move off.

Hadouken needs full health? Well I didn't know since I always used it before they could hit me (Except Final Sigma which is immune to the Hadouken). The button combination is extremely easy and isn't hard to input.
The Shoryuken sucks. Range sucks and aims up, this one's risky as if you do it too soon or too late you can be hit as it's close range and aims the fist up.

Agreed that the Shyoreken sucks. Nobody likes it, and it's fairly useless. But the hadouken is more useful then some people, not to mention any names (Virus Zero. No offence), give it credit for. I madkes a one-hit deal out of every enemy but final Sigma, although you had to be on the ground with full health to execute it. Though that makes it perfectly suited to the artful dodger. And aside from that, it has refference value to Street Fighter (I think it originated in Street Fighter) fans who were dedicated enough to get it.

I love it.I guess its only for skilled street fighter veterans,as i used it very well.it was perfect for me.Neo sigma has that instant transmission-like attack for a reason,ya know..
but the X2 double shot is better than the X3 D.shot in my opinion.it's slow, andand the slowness just isn't right for me.I'll admit that the giga crush sucks, but you can't put nothin on the X2 double shot.

I didn't say that the hadouken wasn't useful. I said IF you got hit first, then it wasn't worth having in comparison to the Golden armor. But of course in the games you really don't get an option to use the Golden armor in x1...
As far as the Giga vs Max/Golden dual blasts, I rather like the Max/Golden's better. Yes it is slower but thats so you can combine the shots into an even bigger spread shot if you wanted, or you can still fire the shots as 2.

exactly.and when you fuse them can you honestly say you've never been hit in the process?...in X 2,to this day,I have never been hit in the first two final levels.even against violen(?) and...serges.on X3,I went along thinking it was going to simply be an upgraded version of the last, but no.it lost its speed for power.and even then, the side pards like to hit more than the main blast, making the whole thing useless.I know we have our diffrent preferences, but I didn't know this much, for the X games, lol.

I have a easy way to prevent the slow-down. just jump a bit before you shoot. you can move fast after teh jump!

My biggest problem with the dragon punch is that you don't get it until the third stage of the fortress. So, you really can't use it all that much.

it's mainly for sigma, just like the hadouken was.remember on X1,as soon as you start the fight with sigma,he charges at you?boom,he's dead. same as on X2.you had to use it when sigma did that claw attack from above.
btw,did anyone notice that the finally put the spin kick thing in X8?lol
