X8 or Command Mission?

I want to buy one of them but I can't decide. Which one is better?

I perfered X8 over Command Mission. But that's my opinion.

for me it'd come down to how much each cost vs the time you can expect to put into it.

X8 was good, and I played it around 21-23 hours
Command Mission was also good, and I played it around 40
hours

so if they cost the same I'd pick Command Mission, but also it depends on whether you like rpgs vs platformers... (which would tilt your favour towards one or the other)
if you like both then I supposed it more or less comes down to which is available (since command mission is older, I'd get it first, cause it may be harder to get later...)

though it doesn't matter which you buy because they are both pretty good games, it's just a matter of which you want first.

Get x8 cause a rpg megaman is kinda lame

X8 KICK @$$, but now a days its hard to finds either of those in stores

Both are good. I own MMXCM only because X8 isn't out on the gamecube, which kind of stinks. I play X8 at my friend house though, and it is really fun. MMXCM is extremely addicting if you get into it. What I like about X8 is the standard MegaMan side-scroller. MMXCM doesn't have Sigma as the enemy, which is definitely different, but MMX8 does. If you're sick of fighting Sigma, go after MMXCM.

One of the main reasons I want MMXCM is because Zero has absolute Zero form while X8 dosent have an alternate Zero form.

I think he has that Black armor form... I THINK, never really got any thing fro zero since when i had MMX8 I didn't uderstand what i was doing... But Im pretty sure it should have Black Zero Suit...

I played MMX8. The fun thing is: Some enemies form X8 are exactly the same as the ones form MMMHX and that game is excellent. and it is fun too because there is ONE mode with a fun AXL: with the ray gun you can blast almost everthing and I have trouble to die with one of X's armors. So if you want to godmod buy X8, If you want something of the second best MM game ever made buy X8. If you LOVE RPGS buy MMX:CM

in X8 you can unlock an alternate form for each base character (X gets 3 armours - Icarus, Hermes, Ultimate. Zero gets Black Zero. Axl gets White Axl.)

In Command Mission only X and Zero have a second alternate form (Ultimate armour X and Absolute Zero). but their so absurdly powerful that you really won't notice that no one else has another form.


but once again it comes down to when you want to get it, they're both good. (Though as I said, CM is older so it might be harder to get, so if you find it first get it first. conversely, if you find X8 but not CM then get it.)

Well I always see a Megaman X command mission at Re-play so I probly wont have to worry about not being able to find one. But I'll probly get X8 first since It seems better.

I disagrae X8 was too easy if your good at the other X game you'll own this in no time it took me a day to beat hard mode and nto 24 hours more just when I was board durning the day which is in the morning and at night. MMXCM is better becasue I've had the game for a year and I'm still yet to get 100% I just need to get the subtank fillers but still its taken me time and thats what you want in a game a time killer, not a 12 level game

If you want a game that challenges you skill, get X8. If you want something that reguires stratagy and planning, get CM. I like CM, because I have become too skilled, and RPG's take more time. Tales of Symphonia has both. Time your attack, and have a LARGELY AWESOME RPG part in it. The only flaw is: FAR TOO AWESOME!!!!! If you don't have ToS, I advise you to GET IT! After you pick either X8 or CM first. ASAP though.
