MMBN3 at the beginning... "The year is 200XX" Ha. What? I'm pretty sure my Rockman.EXE 1 said 200X along with my Perfect Memories Source Book which is supposed to be the full valid source guide for the Rockman series. And... I opened up my DS right now with BN3-Blue and it states the year is 200X. Read the FAQ's on GameFAQ, most of their intro's include the year 200X.

are you sure you didn't misread the info, but either way the games do say 200X not 200XX, and the time line has pretty well been established. so unless (as already stated you can offer other proof of how it differs.) the timeline is pretty concrete.

I have re-played EXE3 recently and it says 200X. As the other EXE games say too. EXE is a parelell dimension and i doubt Legends isn't a parallel dimension too (Huge coinidence for Trigger to be found by a girl named Roll too ¬¬)
Even though Trigger may have been created from parts of the Megaman from Classic series that were hidden all those years after Zero killed him. If that happened the timeline order is
Classic (20XX) X (21XX/22XX) Zero (23XX) Legends
EXE is parallel!! Since when Megaman is a piece of data that was forged off a dead twin that died with some illness

Maybe all the robots blew up and people forgot about them? Beat that! Why would they forget something as significant as artificial intelligence in solid matter that were able to function close to humans? EXE and Classic are in different universes.

Maybe all the robots blew up and people forgot about them? Beat that! This thread isn't about creating your own storyline. We've pretty much established the order of the games now. I don't think this thread needs to go on any longer.

I'm just submitting constructive ideas of how they DO connect. And isn't it possible EXE came before the others?

oh yes i did read it wrong, whoops my mistake, but still megaman.exe and megaman classic don't share same date...
the proof is that X was in the capsule for 30 years so that makes the earliest he was made in 2070, ( if it was any later x was made then it adjusts the date accordingly ) this means that dr light would have to be atleast 70 by then. it would have to be lan's son if he had one to be able to connect the story, but i'd say it was just different story all along, megaman as a program, colonel being in classic megaman, it just doesnt fit.

no only the original megaman is in 20XX, so that puts it between 2055 and 2070 ( because dr light is an older man, so assuming he was born in 2000 and that x was sealed away the earliest he could be) however if anydates are off it would require further adjustment. but if lan was born in 1990, that would put him 10 in 200X (which is how the battle network series shows year) so possibly if dr light ( original series) was born in 1990 then it would occupy the same dates (that be assuming lan and dr. light are the same person). but if it happened first there is a small possibility that the battlenet and original series could have happened in the same time.
so that is how i see it, i gues either way it is a parallel dimension, the times are just too close together.
