game cube might be the way to go, also good games for cube are super smash bros melee, metroid prime ( if ou like first person shooters ) and later twiligh princess.
or you could get ps2, its got some real nice games too, and its almost as cheap, recommened games for ps2 are: devil may cry series, gran turismo ( if you like racing ) ratchet/clank and jak/daxter( later jak 2 and jak 3 ) are good, socom us navy seals if you like online third person shooters its got some fightign games too but i dont have a huge interest in them, plus the ps2 is home to x7 and x8 ( well x8 is pc too, dunno bout x7 )

The X collection will also have Megaman soccer on it *shivers*. But what about the Gameboy collection? It keeps on getting delayed. And will the X collection have the Xtreme games on it?

Well, for the X collection, it's suposed to come out the last week of october (megaman soccer? ha, I never played) and will not have the Xtreme games, but also that racing game (can't think of the game)
As for the GBA game.....I wanted to play that so badly, but to my knowledge, it's been canceled.

the racing game was originally called megaman battle and chase, it has now been renamed megaman racing.
as far as the gba one yeah its been either cancelled or put on hold i don't know for sure.

Its coming out somewhere in the fall so I am going to get it too... but its only MegamanX 1-6 though... Its still good. ONLY have Megaman x 1-6? Lol do I really want X7, and X8, jesus I would get this even if it only had X1-3! And besides it comes with Rockman battle and chase. Btw X7, and X8 wouldn't be on there anywy sonce Capcom is still making money off the games. |

i was hoping they'd update the images of the characters from x-x3 to a 32bit form or all of them to the 3d form like x8
