Well, it's been a while since the last update to the site... So I figured it's bout time. (Not that your eyes won't have already told you what it is anyway... Because for now it is set as default forum skin.)
Yes, it is indeed a new skin. (Titled "Inferno", it was created by a close friend of mine. Hence the copyright notice at the bottom of the page saying her name instead of my own.)
But now, part of the reason it took so long to implement is because we had to ensure that you could still use the old skin without the css changes of the new skin affecting it on IE, Firefox and Opera. (And Firefox wasn't working so well, so if you have issues using Firefox with the new skin... Just let us know or use a different browser.)
So if you'd prefer to use the old skin, then all you have to do is: 1- Click on your username or click profile at the top of the page under the banner. 2- Click "modify profile" link 3- Scroll down to account preferences. 4- Change from "Inferno" to "Default" 5- Click the "Modify profile" button at the bottom and you're all set.

I've tested the skin with a couple of browsers. I'll list them below;
[OK] Mozilla Firefox (3.0.1) [OK] Internet Explorer (7.0.6001.18000 64-bit) [OK] Opera (9.52) [OK] Safari (3.1.2) [OK] Google Chrome (0.2.149.27)

Bit of a problem, Inferno is set as the default skin, and the old skin isn't listed.

Should be... if the dropdown box just shows default, then just click it, it should show default and inferno, click on inferno, then click the box and set to default again. Then click the modify profile button and it should switch over to the default look.

Why not just simplify it and just have the old skin listed as "FZ v1" on the drop-down menu?
Whoops, just noticed that it's been fixed. Sorry. *Walks off grumbling about how he wishes the delete button still worked*

Ok, just a minor change to report this time...
A new section has been added. The media general section. Before you would put movie, tv show, youtube, music and art discussions in the general section. But from now on they go into the media general section.
Fan made works like fanfictions, graphics, even your own youtube stuff will go into there as well. And if it branches out enough and we see specific types of content (such as if people post alot of fanfics) being posted there alot, we may add a section just for fanfics.

Ok, another update to the forum... Firstly, the old rules have been removed and thusly replaced by the much clearer new rules. Hopefully you've taken the time to read them as there are some new rules that were added with the inception of them. If you've not read the new rules... they're located HereSecondly... For those of you who dislike the current skin (Perchance due to century old washing machines laying about everywhere.) A new skin has been implemented to add further choice. (Entitled X-Factor. Than name giving some clue as to what the skin be about...) Anyway, same method applies to change to it as already posted (with slight variations in instruction due to selection.) So if you'd prefer to use either the old skin or X-Factor, then all you have to do is: 1- Click on your username or click profile at the top of the page under the banner. 2- Click "modify profile" link 3- Scroll down to account preferences. 4- Change from "Inferno" to "Default"/"X-Factor" 5- Click the "Modify profile" button at the bottom and you're all set.
