Anyways, I think the longer it takes for a flash to be done,
the better it will be. Even though the suspence have left me
a long time ago I still want to see it when it's done.
I say let it take another 2 years if thats what it needs, though
maby a bit to long for some mind you :3

I'm well aware that this account is brand new to the forum, but I must say, I am a tad... Well, disappointed in Flamezero. It is going on THREE years since he said it would be out within a month... Now, I'm just as big a fan as everyone else, and I am NOT here to "flame" at Flame, but really now... I believe he needs to give a more accurate launch date... After all, we have all waited, and been patient,(Though some have expressed annoyance much earlier/more often then others, but they have fair reason to do so, at this point.) and at this point, it is hard to really "keep the faith" that the movie is going to be coming out.

Now, I don't believe I am being unreasonable in asking for an update on the approximate launch date, because if it was supposed to come out "next month" 3 years ago, then I am fairly certain that there should not be many excuses left to give towards stalling it still.. And please, do NOT give me the excuse that these things "take time", because Alvin Earthworm has released six episodes of Super Mario Bros. Z, and please do not try to say voice acting stalls movies this long, either... I can give quite a few examples that would dismiss that arguement as well.


So, please, all I am asking for from Flamezero is a response to WHEN the movie is coming, because after nearly three years, even I am beginning to become impatient, and I don't think my "demands" are impossible to meet.


Well, negative portion of my message aside, I have to say I am still a fan of your work to this day, and I hope that we will all finally be gifted with the third installment of your great Megaman Zero series. Heres hoping we will get to in the end..

I can understand your impatience (I do agree 3 years is a long time and it would be nice to see some progress) however there is more than just the technical aspects of flash at work here...

What about:
1- School/University (can take alot of time.)
2- Family.
3- Friends (need to have fun with friends once in a while.)
4- Work (gotta earn money to go to university.)
5- Amusement (ie playing videogames or whatever you do for fun.)
6- Flash is just a hobby, he isn't getting paid to do this and if other things come along they have to take precidence.

And there are only 24 hours in a day... So I can see how it might be hard to do everything you want to do in a day/week/month, year even.

I stronly stand with VZ's sixth point. if you're not paying for this, why in the world are you displaying anger? FlameZero may be diffrent of course, but if that were me, I'd say phuk you all and disappear. unless FZ decides to make this a business, I say calm the ehck down and wait.

Anger...? I said that I am beginning to feel impatient... I never once said that I am angry with FZ. Please do not twist my words... I don't appreciate it.

And yes, I'm well aware of all of the things that CAN get in the way... But the same can be said for most other flash artists, yet they still make flashes, do they not? I am not demanding that FZ release the movie right this minute, or give a report as to why he is not finished with it either, all I asked is for an accurate release date... I don't believe that should label me as someone who is angry with him.

I still would like to find out if the movie is still coming or not... Since the last update we got was him updating his profile, and providing us with a few screenshots of the movie, which is nice, but I would say only feeds the fire for those who want to know when it will be released, since I don't recall it taking anywhere near this long to release number 2, after 1. =P


On an entirely different topic, though... I wonder if FZ has any interest in the ZX series? After all, it involves our favorite guardians, along with X and Zero, though only in Biometal forms. I'd say quite a few interesting movies could be made off of the ZX timeline.(Plus it is still connected to the Zero series, and even the first Megaman X game.)

Well, The last time I talked to FZ, he was having massive computer problems... (I didn't include it in the list because I'm not sure of whether he'd solved them or not... Though I probably should have included it just in case...)

As for a definite release date... That can be quite difficult to determine given the previous issues. Most flash artists work on their flash when they can... They might get an hour a week where they can work on flash so that's what they do, or they might get 6 hours a week where they can. (This all depends on their schedule.) So I believe it quite unfair that you compare FZ to Alvin Earthworm in this regard.
And since flash is a hobby, the author will spend as much time on it as they feel they need to, to make it to their expectations. So that also comlicates giving an exact date. (Besides dates can change as well.)

I... Fail to see how it is "unfair" to compare FZ to Alvin Earthworm... AE is a flash artist just like FZ... How is it wrong to compare the two? They both make wonderful flash animations, and both are very popular... I'm not certain why exactly you seem upset that I did compared them, but if I offended you, I apologize, but I do not take back what I said.

Also, I'm aware that flash is NOT the highest priority, but for quite some time FZ made it sound like he was very eager to work on the MMZ: TLC, and that it was close to completion nearly 3 years ago... And when a flash artist says that it will be released within a month, adding almost 3 years to that release date doesn't exactly seem like a fair time table to simply use what was listed before as an excuse to stall it this long.

I'm not here to start any fights... I simply fail to see how a movie, which was going to be released within a month years ago, got pushed back THIS far, and still has no set release date.. I don't think I'm being unfair about this. Besides, it's not like I'm here to flame FZ.

First, I wouldn't say I was upset (it'd take more than that to upset me and you'd definitely know if I were upset.) I say it's unfair to compare FlameZero and Alvin Earthworm because unless you know both of their schedules and how much time they spend working in flash, it's impossible to make a comparison. (Time is the key factor being examined remember. It isn't their skills nor popularity. So without knowing their schedules/how much time they spend working in flash then comparison is nigh impossible.)

But I do agree, it'd be nice to see something indicating "Yes it's still being worked on." or "Nope, it's not cause <reason>" or something of the sort. (Though an exact date is probably an impossibility unless it's already finished but has had computer problems and hasn't been able to post it yet.)

Though this is the exact reasons why I suggest not saying stuff like "it'll be out in a month"... Because situations change and life happens. (Computers fail, as well as a huge list of other reasons.)
