Hah, I'm not starting my military service until the summer. But regardless, best of luck out there. Just a reminder, so you won't be singled out by the pricks in the lead: Never be the last, never be the first. Ahh, it's not that bad. First few days were horrible, but after that it's got quite easy. Days flew by during the second week. And they're not really singling anyone out so far unless they screw up on a larger scale than normal. And mostly when we do screw up in some way, they lash it out on the smokers, so I have nothing much to worry. :p Worst part is that after the first week, my legs have lost much of their functionality. Can't straighten the left one and have lost the ability to run altogether. Since monday I've been on frequent visits to the med bay to plead for more releases out of the marching and exercising. Annoying, sorta. Must be due to the absurdly flat feet which I've inherited from the dear mommy's side. :X Oh yea, and I survived all the way until the first weekend vacation! Doubt I'll get to one next week seeing how I might have to run cooper test and whatnot which I've missed so far. Irritating. Plus I can't sleep quite well since I keep dreaming/seeing nightmares of the constant bossing around and whatnot that's been going on lately. xD OOC: Oh, and mr Storm! I hear summer is the least pleasant time to go. Once you're out there in some 30km march in full equipment at the sunniest of days with some 30 degrees celsius, you'll wish you had been shivering around in january instead. Most of the PETTY OFFICERS THIRD CLASS (luls :X) have told us tales of how they were fainting around due to dehydration.

Are you in the you.S. Army, or in another country?
My older bro said that when he joined, their standards had dropped significantly. Uf you're in another country, then it might be safe to assume that some other countries aren't as tough as well.

Finland. That's located like a fingertip to the south from to the North Pole. And yeah, I think it's easier than it used to be back in the days. We haven't been taken outside to bury some pebbles in the middle of the night or anything of the likes... So far. At least the harassing part of it has been toned down. Not sure about the physical bits. :X

Indeed, but you'd need a veteran's unbiased opinion to know for sure. Movies portray Boot Camp as "THE WORST THING EVER." (But we all know that it's Hollywood's opinion, so lawl)
Some things might be easier, but more effective. =O

Yea, my mother, father, few cousins, and two uncles are veterans. It took my mother many years to get to E6, but my brother does it in 2.... And he's still climbing. He says the higher ups like him. ALOT. We are alike, so it kinda makes me want to consider joining...(save for the going to Iraq twice part)

My second report card comes back tomorrow, and odds are, if it's as bad as my brain always makes me assume it is (worst case scenario), then I'm probably gonna end up with pretty much all my privileges taken aways.
So, if I disappear then assume I'm being punished, and if I never come back, then assume boredom either drove me to slit my own throat, turned me into a serial killer and as such I was sent to prison for life/was sentenced to death, or I resolved to become a serial killer but accidentally killed myself while experimenting with what could and couldn't slit a throat.

I'm not exactly gone, but my home internet is screwing up. I can only get here through school...(sorry Tank and Fencer for prolonging the RP fight...)

For the third post in a row, someone is stating they're not exactly leaving.
My parents have brought down the hammer and I'm no longer allowed on the proper computers during weekdays. They so far seem ignorant to my DS Browser and I'm hoping to keep it that way, but this really only means I won't be on MSN as often (so you won't notice a change there, lulz.) and my YouTube and dA time is restricted to weekends (hopefully I won't feel the desire to cut myself too often...).
So yeah, I'll still be here, just not as efficiently as I'd like.

Double post! Blargh!!
Report card tomorrow. Stop. Bad report equals no 'net time 'till summer. Stop. Would like to get writing if report is good. Stop. Need work-ethic assistance. Stop. If still here on Friday, supporters of literary ambition are requested to put the phrase "Get workin', Miguel" in their signatures to contribute said assistance. Stop. Note to self, stop talking like dictating a telegram. Stop.

I'm going to do something for that. Say, "Get Workin' Miguel!" but have some kind of picture in it that throws everyone off.
Yeah.
EDIT: Also, I've decided not to leave after Biotech for reasons I can't explain openly.
