Marvel VS Capcom 3

Well I am a bit stunned no one was gonna report this and I really wanted to give someone else the reigns to try to keep this place going with some sort of disscussion ,but I guess no one took the bait. Oh well after reading a bunch of things on the matter of this game so far I am just pleased and well excited for it ,but its only still developing and already there is a bunch of characters and trailers announced for this game.

Capcom characters that made the cut

Ryu: has been in very VS game known to man...
Chun Li: Not sure if she started in MVC 1 ,but she has been in a lot of the crossover VS games just as much or near Ryu.
Morgan: A fan favorite
Veiwtiful Joe: His second appearence after Tats VS CAP.
Chris Redfield (RE5 appearence) Like Jill he gets to be the solo RE character for this game as well as being a newcomer.
Dante (DMC3) Another newcomer ,but we all knew he'd be there.
Trish (DMC4) Another good pic
Amaterasu: The wolf god chick thing from a game Okami or something she is a newbie.
Felica: A returning vet from MVC2
Tron: Yes shes back again and I'm happy to see her again she was one of the fan favorites of MVC2.
Albert Wesker: Two resident evil character equls epic battle of the ages.

So far there hasn't been a Megaman announced at all. This game does have a Legends stage and some people or expecting Volnut as in the same one from Tats VS CAP. And a lot of people are outraged that X was announced as to be not present in this game.

Marvel Characters that made the cut.

Wolverine: Can't have a Marvel crossover without him.
Iron Man: Another epic choice
Super Skrull: Not sure where he comes from ,but he's a villian in the Marvel universe. This is also his first appearence.
The Hulk: F yeah!
Captain America: Never really enjoyed him as much as most Marvel super heroes ,but he has been in all the Marvel VS Capcom games so far.
Dr. Doom: Back with avengence
Thor: As in this is first appearence in the VS games heard he's going to be fun play as.
Deadpool: He's funny for a villian even though he is a living corpse.
X-23: Not sure who she is ,but she looks like a Wolverine hybrid.
Donamaru: Some flaming guy this is first game

So far no girls on the Marval side just a bunch of burly men in tights, armor and whatever else they could possibly wear. Its unknown of the cas size will continue to grow as some fan are speculating we won't get the rooster size of MVC2.

Not gonna buy the game. it has the same gameplay as Tatsunoko vs Capcom. And I HATE tatsunoko vs capcom

So what was the reason why you despised TATS VS CAP? awkawrd control scheme, removing the original music from the arcade version the idea of only two combatants or was the game just that horrible for you? I thought of it as a good game not a great one if anything it has a lot of memorie especailly with the whole cast minus Frank and a few other on the Tats side.

Well...if you compare between TVC and MVC2, MVC2 was fast paced and more strategic

Well more and more characters are appearing and even Zero is making an encore in MVC 3 from his tats VS cap debut so far he's still the same for the most part if anyone enjoyed playing as him in tats VS. Cap.

They threw a brick at me and gave me blunt-force trama very early by deconfirming X to be in it. I'm none-too interested in the game either.


I mean really. They went out of their way to deconfirm the guy.(There was a large demand, but regardless!) The hell was that all about?

Zero was in the last game. Now his tail arcs too high and his eyes are all bubbly and stupid-looking. Furthermore, he sounds like the black ranger/Ichigo/Juto/Renton/Kiba/Rush/Nero.

I'm guessing talking about MVC 3 is taboo here... Then I'll not update this thread anymore because man I wasn't expecting this much hate over one thing and I can relate a little that its dissapointing that X was deconfirmed early and they had the nerve to make a recolor for Zero based on the Megaman X color scheme. I can agree they really messed him up to a certain extent ,but damn.

I was already going to get this game... So it looks like just another reason to get it for me.

Kinda a shame they used Ichigo's VA for Zero... but whatever I'll play the game anyway. (And I will give Bosch credit, some of his lines from the trailer there almost sound like Lucas Gilbertson... Namely the one line he says at the end: "No damage to report, moving to the next area.")

Though knowing Capcom, they'll probably have X as a DLC character later or something. (Though weren't they going to be adding characters all the way up til it's release date? And if that's the case they still have a while to go and things might change by then.)

Ovedramatic I guess ,but yeah I'm still getting this game for a few other characters not just Zero , Tron and whoever they decide to be this games Megaman representative there is a few others I remember growing up with so I'm getting this game for nostalgia purposes really even though i suck at classic fighter style games.

I won't be getting the game regardless, but I'm going to be moving in with my older bro eventually, who will--whenever it comes out. So I'm good.

Well those are the two new DLC characters. Man they are really trying to make big cash cows as this point I'd wait for the full version of the game whatever editiong they decided cause I can image thse character costing a few maybe 4 a piece.

Though I do like DLC why do this to a fighting game what is the buisness idea behind that?

For the most part this is our capcom line up for now. Does anyone want to bet that if they ever do a Megaman he will be DLC exclusive? Well there is another slot or two left in there line up according to the site I go to so anyone got any predictions who whould take those last two spots in the Capcom line up?

I couldn't really care less about X not being in, but I am going to MURDER someone if Mega Man isn't in. He's been a staple character of the series, and it would be a real disappointment if he was missing. Strider also seems to be missing...Venom too...dammit...
