Maybe for the body suit you could buy or borrow a plain black wet suit and modify it? It sort of hangs around the er...crotch area depending on what type you get so you dont show anything to the public.
It's just a suggestion. =/

Yes I know swimwear was my next oppotion, though Spandex feels so much better. And a cosplay that is un-comfy is no fun at all. trust me, my deidara hair was an annoying accessory >.<

What if you wear 2 or possibly even 3 layers? Like have one layer of spandex shorts, and then the costume layer overtop?

I don't mind wearing spandex, to tell the truth I enjoy it. Its just that small issue I shall incounter. I have though of a few ways but Im going to keep them to myself.

Spandex is well interesting considering I used to like wear it for High School wreastling.... Sometimes the spandex wasn't very confortable I tell you.

Yeah, but it would be a bit expensive to make a body suit from, I suppose you could make one from faux silk, but I've seen the sewing patterns for those. They are HARD.
