So, we've been thinking of ideas to improve FlameZeroBoard, but we're not sure, so instead of just making random stabs in the dark, we figured it'd be better if we asked you guys, the members what you'd like to be added to the forum to make it better.
So now then, go on, speak up, let your voices be heard and tell us what you'd like to see added. (We won't make any guarantees on what will be added though...)

i too enjoy the idea of a chat box of some sort, but then again, the post count would pretty much become the majority In thus said box.

If a chat thread was ever considered, the staff would disable post count for it to prevent spamming for the sake of post rank.

If this isn't happening to you guys and it's just my comp, the Zero slashing sprite gifs on the side are enlarged horizontally, and some of the forum sections are gone.....
....what happened...?

Fancy? Fancy as in... How, exactly? What kind of stuff did you have in mind? How about changing the sig on the top, and filling the area insted of makeing it on the left side. And the background, plz make it more, Photoshop-ish. kind of like this www.photoshopnerds.com/images/abstract_background_30.jpg And maybe take off the zero sprite, i don't see what is the point of it. The 2 sprites confuse me sometimes. Anyway, why not make a page with flamezero's movies. And guests and us can rate them.Also upgrade the avatars to 150x150,just for the fun of it. Furthermore, why not make zero smilies,insted of regular ones. |

So it sounds like what you want is a graphicly whored out new skin. Well to my knowledge, Virus is working on one or two possible new skins at the moment, I'm not sure how close to completion they are but from what he's shown me they look nice.
As for the two zeros, the point of them is to show you if there's been a new post in that particular sub-board or not. Every board has some sort of way to indicate that. I don't know if Virus' skins will have Zeros but they will have something. And since this is the default skin, we're probably not gonna change it.

Well, I wasn't gonna mention I was working on the skins til they were launched... More or less a "here they are" kind of thing.
But as for level of completion... One of them is basically ready to be implemented. (To my knowledge it has all the glitches and bugs worked out. And I'm just waiting on confirmation from Netto now.) And it will be a complete change from the current one. But I'm not going to say what that entails... Beyond that the Zero stances will stay. (Atleast for now anyway... Until I can figure out a suitable replacement that fits the skin. That is if I decide to replace them with something else... Might be more work than it's worth to try it.)
That's already been done... it's called FlameZero's profile page on newgrounds.
See FZ's profile page on newgrounds again... It already allows members and guests to rate his flash. Why should we recreate that and open ourselves to a host of whiny incompetants who only ask:
"When is it going to be done?" or "Where is TLC3?" or "Teach me flash too."
Not my call on that one. But personally I think 100x100 is suitable. It is a decent size and doesn't stretch things out. 150x150 is rather an awkward size... especially if you have to resize anything, and no sprite looks decent resized to 150px. (Even some graphics look like crap at that size.)
So ditch the Zero stances but get Zero smilies? If I found a set that I was permitted to use then maybe... But I don't have the time nor patience to make them myself.

If there are any Zero smilies, I think there aren't any out there. However, it is possible to create them, I believe.
