The regular ending with either charater you play as get the same similar ending. I've heard if you beat maniac mode or hard mode in the American version or Japanese version there is secret ending where the Master tomas and Mikail talk about the megamen of something and the four megamen you fought return in this cutscene or something... The clip can be viewed at youtube so far if you look it up but, I don't recomend it because its in japanese and it has poor video quality.

There are English versions of said clip. The basic plot of the secret ending is that
Spoilers Below
Thomas tells Mikial that even though he didn't agree with Albert's methods, he desires the same outcome. Mikial is shocked and horified as the four Mega Men with the guardian biometals teleport in and reveal that they are now working for Thomas. Somehow they survived, and there is no sign of Model Z, no one knows what happened to him though its unlikely he died. Chances are he's just been taken by the bad guys and you'll have to get him back next game. No sign of Pandora or Prometheus, they're probably dead and not coming back. Grey/Ashe and Aile/Vent go their seperate ways, each still holding Model A and Model X respectively.

And HZ you do relize that our progect will have conflict with that secret ending. I plan on doing this based on the normal ending.
