If you ignore Narutards, they go away on their own. If they don't, just tell them that you don't like Naruto. They'll stop talking to YOU about it anyway.. I think.

I gotta admit in my younger years I was a DBZtard always copying their techniques, but that was understandable since I was 7 - 8 years old back then, but after seeing a Narutard whose age ranges from 11 - 20+ years old it would honestly look sad.
Naruto is a great anime itself, but many people complained how it strayed from their initial conception of the series to something more DBZ related, but I still watch it to see how it ends (and yes everytime I download a filler I skip through the whole thing).
Now the new anime and live series I'm looking forward to later this year are: Genshiken II Shakugan no Shana Second Heroes Season II, and Chasers War on Everything (after half a year break).

I thought narutards were these shining examples of juveline twits with their narrow-minded opinions, blessed with little to no talent in the english language, usually having degenerated from the DBZ ideals, going on and on with their endless arguments of "AM MANGEKYOKU SHARINGAN STRUNGER THAN ######????" he's right....fefnir, your first post containes qualifications for being a "It's not *maynga*, its *monga*!!!!" super high-quality deep net searching anime FREAK!..... and for the record, I pronounce it *maynga*....I don't care how it should be....oh yea, and that was not intended to be a flame thing, lol No offense taken. Everyone has their own terminology, and mine seems to be different than everyone else's... But yeah, I pronounce it "mang-ga", or however else I want to, including one time I called them "Japanese comic books"

Yeh, Naru has become utter crap. I still read the manga, but I think it and Bleach has the annoying issue of one-epic-fight-after-another. Like, (SPOILER WARNING) how many espada's has Ichigo encountered in a row now? >_> I laughed at the part with Neon Genesis Evangelion. Add some One Piece in there and the list shall look more appealing. :X NGE pwns.. And One piece..haven't seen it, I belive it's good. Okay, yes, I also despise Narutards. But let's clarify what a Narutard is. In my opinion, a Narutard is anyone who falls under one or more of these categories: They only watch english-dubbed anime They've only watched, like, 5 or less animes They talk about it like everyone knows what they're talking about. They only know the english terminology for techniques (ex: shinigami are called Soul Reapers in the english dub) I'm sure there are more qualifications, but that's all I can think of right now. To me, Narutard is someone who likes Naruto, and couple of other shonens (One piece, bleach, inuyasha etc.) and calls himself an anime fan.. I think that to be an an anime fan (well otaku..) you have to watch different animes, you have to watch some certain animes (Well Haruhi is a MUST-SEE..No really, you have to watch it) and other stuff. Also, if you watch dubs it doesn't make you a Narutard but a dubbie. Narutard is a fan of Naruto, Yes, not exactly, But if you had readen the whole post you would've know I explained what I think it means.

Hey neko... you could get a warnign for that edit it quick, rules say no spammish posts, like that last one.
But my terminology is when someone likes naruto, alot... i mean ALOT, so much they think its better than every single anime in existence, Haruhi i have NEVER heard of, but i'm gonna look it up when i have spare time and download memory on my net, but right now i'm borrowing a DVD of an anime called Spriggin, not sure what it is, but according to him, its good and violent... so i'm gonna watch it and see.
The spell check i saw after a few posts, but i have never used i swear, and my grammar is still fairly good, but neko, in your last sentence (no offence) had the grammar of a 4th-5th grader, or even a 2nd - 3rd grader.

Spriggan is a good anime movie, but not considered a favorite of mine. Oh and yes another sign that you see common in a Narutard is that he memorizes more than five jutsus and its handsigns (some handsigns look impossible to form).

Nah, even learning 1 jutsu makes you a damn narutard. Cause yeah, even if it's easy..why should you learn it?

How the hell does it make you s Narutard if you know some jutsus? Some jutsus don't even require handsigns.

Okay, so there's no more confusion as to what a Narutard is, I'm going to explain what I would view a Narutard to be: Someone who watches Naruto or is a fan of the series= NOT a Narutard. Someone who would go so far as delving into Naruto couples (a few of the more popular ones are NaruSaku, SasuSaku (personally, I know that one'll never happen), and NaruHina.) or reading the manga religiously, downloads the OSTs to their computer, etc. Stuff that they think is just privately tributing the series, but is actually qualifying as stalking the series. And yes, I am somehing of a Narutard, I'm just a bit more in control of it then most Narutards.

I read it translated online but thats as far as I go, and I also do that with other animes
