No, I'm pretty sure that Llyod still has it. Just because swords have the same name doesn't mean they're one and the same. Look at the Buster Sword, Cloud Stife's main weopon. I saw a recreation of it at a store at Mall of America. 15 pounds. Thats heavy, and it was shorter then the real thing. Then there is Sepiroth's sword (kinda forgot the name). They had a 68 inch recreation, and it was also shorter then the real thing. THAT THING IS TALLER THEN ME!!!

Lloyd left Flameberge at Anna`s grave at Dirk`s house. End of story.

Yea, but that still means he has it. Its just resting, and maybe rotting, on his moms grave.

Personally, I think that`s stupid. Why leave such a good sword at a grave when you can use it to slaughter evil (innocents too). But I know, he left it so Anna could have a reminder of her love. >:T

Okay, I was thinking Muramasa, but obviously...Considering that Lloyd still has the Vorpal Sword, and he would absolutly SLAUGHTER any thieves that tried. Also, who would pass by the Desian ranch, although, now that its empty, would be a great hideout for outlaws. And then there is the fact that Lloyd is going around the world, geting rid of exspheres. So many unanswered questions....

I made an interesting little discovery, it would seem though that there is a group of humans within the ranks of the Desians.
And they are known as "The Fallen". Creepy isn't it?

well what i meant was that after dirk and lloyd died that new villages would be made and someone found the grave, took the sword, and most likely sold it for a high price. then it probably got traded around and stuff and eventually wound up where it was.

Um, Lloyd is kind of a Fallen, as he has wings, and he probably won't get rind off his Exsphere, considering he has to protect the new world, and that means he is mostly immortal. And what about his kids? That sword would be a heirloom, and even if he is kinda stupid, he would raise his kids right, and they wouldn't sell it or leave it. And they might just seal off his mom's grave to everyone but family. Who knows?

The events of Tales of Phantasia is 1000 years after ToS, the only thing I know about Flamberge and Vorpal Sword is that they're both sealed in different towers and being guarded by a spirit.

Actually, It's 2000 years after ToS. The year in ToP is 2000 something, or almost 2000. Also, a character from the Fujibayashi clan joins the party much later on, Suzu. I'm thinking Cless is decended from Lloyd, and Chester kinda looks like Zelos in the face. Also, with the longevity that half elves have, Genis + Presea would have a pink haired half elf decendant. So, Arche would kinda make sense, aside from her last name. Martel is even the guardian of Yggdrasil in ToP. As for Klarth (Dubbed Claus), who knows who he's decended from. Either way, ToS was a pretty good prequal. I still need to get my hands on Abyss, though.

DON'T TOUCH ME, YOU PERVERT!!!! Just kidding. Play on words. Well, I knew Martel would be the guardian of the Yggdrasil Tree, but I bet it isn't the same Martel. Question for those who played the later Tales games (Only played Legendia and a Japanese Phantasia), are the summon spirits still there?

In response to your question, the summon spirits are in Tales of Eternia, but not in the Destiny series. As for the ones that haven't been released outside of Japan, I have no clue. Hit me up on AIM sometime if you're interested in the other Tales games.

Hmmmm...Out of the summons, my favorite COULD have been Shadow, but he talked like he had a labotamy, and his design was...lacking and dull. Something crystal like and sounding like a cold killer would have suited better. I bet he sounded cooler in the Japanese version...
