If the "flaming" you speak of a la mr Darc is more of the random lines of swear words with little wit or point behind them, then you might as well ignore them.

3000 is one heckuva accomplishment, thats alot of pming...
I have 114 for now... But I don't really send a lot of private messages.
And need I remind people, no flaming? I shouldn't have to. If it happens in private messages and someone complains about it... Then it's just as bad as if it were a post on the forum and I do have to treat it as such.

If someone is flamming through PMs it would be best to PM a mod/admin and let them know what's going on.
I have 206 as currently.

Not necessarily ban them... it would depend upon the scope of the situation. (Such as how inflamitory the remarks were, the number of them, prior incidents etc would all factor in.) Also it helps to have some proof. (Screenshots, or atleast forward the offending pm on to staff.) But, one thing to be careful of: If you tell us that your being flamed, and we find out that you instigated and/or participated in the flaming, then you could get punished as well. So the best thing to do if your being flamed via PM, is not to respond to it, just contact staff and we'll handle it. |
